Our most recent book in the "Talented Class" line, The Genius Guide to the Talented Barbarian is now available!

More than berserkers, the options in this book allow your barbarians to be scouts, cunning warriors, mercenary captains, shapeshifters, and even shamans of the tribe.

Sweet! I see from the preview that there is an "urban barbarian". I can't wait to see your full approach to the concept.

There's is absolutely a option, actually several options, for barbarians with more experience in cities.

When my wife and I read the original Conan stories together, we were amused by how much lore the "barbarian" knew, from speaking in multiple languages to recognizing what country a specific art piece came from.

Between the T/Brb and the T/Rog, your games no longer need a ranger. You can use these two to build a classic "core ranger," a "spell-less ranger," a shaman/druid, a mountain-man, a guerilla warrior, a beast-master, a huntsman, and on and on...

It is certainly possible to fill a lot of skill monkey and wilderness warrior roles with those two classes.

Of course, Talented Ranger is next, and I am pretty sure it'll prove rangers aren't obsolete. :)

Since I play a ranger/paladin in RotRL, I now want the Talented Paladin too ;-)
