The Ws Will rise Up

As this month's subscriptions seem to be coming out at a slower rate than usual the ugly head of letter discrimination rears its head again.

Those subscribers with last names starting with letters at the beginning of the alphabet frolic in their newly acquired swag while those of us and the end check our email and hit refresh on our downloads' page looking and hoping for relief.

As a W, I've grown up and gone along with this system, as everyone can recite the alphabet forwards but who among us can do it backwards?

No more, I say, no more.
It's time for the Ws to rise up and send those As to the back of the line!!!

While I applaud your dedication to a cause I can personally relate to as a "T", we don't actually ship alphabetically... at all.

Instead, we ship by groupings. For example, one group is people with just Adventure Path #75. One group is just people shipping Adventure Card Game Skinsaw Murder decks and another grouping is people who have Adventure Card Game Skinsaw Murder decks plus Adventure Path #75. Yet another (albeit smaller) group is people who have Adventure Path #75 Skinsaw Adventure deck, Bestiary 4, Reign of Winter Pawns, Towns of the Inner Sea, Blood of the Moon, Seedy Tavern, Dungeon Corridors, Stalking the Beast and Legends of Golarion Minis. Etc, etc, etc.

Each of the groupings is further divided up into which shipping method they are going, USPS International Priority, UPS Ground, standard domestic, standard international, etc.

We don't focus much on which order those groups go in and do change it up based on warehouse workflow. Sometimes its most effective to ship, say, all the ones with battles since those items are biggest and free up space. Sometimes its most effective to pound out all the single Adventure Paths since that's the pallet that's easiestly accessible, sometimes the warehouse has reasons I don't know about ;)

So long story short, we love all letters of the alphabet equally.

I was getting my subscription for the past two years in the first few days of shipping. Now that I added the pawns subscription I can see I got group into a later shipping time. A bit disappointing.

If this is the first month it's happened, then chances are it's down to the extra workload and the computer problems from this month and not a permanent thing.

computer problems???

Paizo had a glitch last week that delayed the start of subscription shipping this month.
