I am a little fuzzy on how these would work together
Its says under arcane bomber
At 1st level, the arcane bomber gains an ability nearly identical to the alchemist’s bomb ability. Unlike the alchemist, at 1st level, the arcane bomber chooses one type of energy from the following list: acid, cold, fire, and electricity. He can throw bombs of that type, but cannot modify them with discoveries. This ability stacks with the alchemist bomb ability to determine the level of bomb damage, but an arcane bomber that becomes an alchemist does not gain that class’s bomb ability, nor does an alchemist that becomes an arcane bomber gain this bomb ability.
Ok so lets say alchemist 4 arcane bomber 1
so they stack so your damage is now 3d6 (going from 4 to 5 on the chart)
say int is 18
so would you have 4+4 8 bombs from you alchemist doing fire damage (assuming no other discovery
Then 1+4 bombs from arcane bomber doing say electrical damage
Did i do that right??? seems to good to be true.

that distinction means that they are separate class abilities whose damage stacks. So an arcane bomber does not game the alchemist bomb ability, Great got it thats why you cant apply discoveries to it. It still seems confusing. I would love to see example of this mix and how the math would work.
never mind got it now, so this combination would actually be harmful as you would either loose the arcane bond, or the ablility to use discovers, with no benefit....yuck.
