I have to disagree, while it is not my favourite sport (Rugby Union is) I have played it and I find it to be highly tactical and to require a lot of skill. Although the low scoring and the diving can be frustrating its all part of the drama.

Thanks Judy - it was so close, Australia had about 20 shots at goal and couldn't put it in. The Iraqi teams defence was very good. In the last 10 mins the coach brought on 3 players and they imediatley made a difference.
I was very impressed with Iraq, I think they will be very powerful team in the future and a good team to watch for thier technical excellence.
Unlike my Australians who play hard, brutal and ugly to win (also good to watch but we tend to rack up a lot of yellow cards).
My team still has matches against Belgium, Serbia, and Scotland. It will be difficult with the most incompetent coach ever. Would be a lot easier to qualify in Asia or Oceania.

Please everyone shuttup about dropping the ball during the draw; there's no conspiracy, just a really old (legendary) dude who sadly can't keep his geriatric hand from shaking when he's wiping his bum, let alone holding the ping-pong ball firmly without dropping it -- IT WAS NOTHING....

But I still have no problem with the Draw. FIFA HAS to make ratings (though transparency & consistency is NEEDED) and by some stupid fluke Switzerland is ridiculously & inaccurately placed and France deserves to be placed where they were based on their play. It's actually meet that they ended up in the same Group (COINCIDENTALLY) because France (on paper) is absolutely a Top 8 team while Switzerland is absolutely Not.
