"Share Spells (Ex): The summoner may cast a spell with a target of “you” on his eidolon (as a spell with a range of touch) instead of on himself. A summoner may cast spells on his eidolon even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of the eidolon's type (outsider). Spells cast in this way must come from the summoner spell list. This ability does not allow the eidolon to share abilities that are not spells, even if they function like spells."
Does including outsider in parenthesis limit the type waiver to outsiders?
I have a summoner with a serpentine eidolon. Enlarge Person only works on humanoid creatures. Humanoid is a type of creature. The term humanoid would imply a biped base form. So would the ruling be:
1 - Share Spells would allow my eidolon to use Enlarge Person because it waives the restriction on any type,
or
2 - Share Spells would not allow my eisolon to use Enlarge Person because the waiver is limited to the outsider type. My eidolon is a non-humanoid outsider and Share Spells would treat him as a non-humanoid non-outsider.

Number 1 is correct.
The actual form chosen for the eidolon does not change its creature type. The eidolon biped form does not equate to humanoid somehow. It is still an outsider. There is absolutely no correlation between type and form for eidolons.
This share spells ability is nearly identical to the wizard familiar share spells ability so both can do similar things like cast Enlarge Person on their familar/eidolon (or shield or mage armor).
Share Spells: The wizard may cast a spell with a target of “You” on his familiar (as a touch spell) instead of on himself. A wizard may cast spells on his familiar even if the spells do not normally affect creatures of the familiar's type (magical beast).
