Rather than make a new thread..."simple" question... If an ally is only "affected" by the bard's performance to the extend that he is receiving the benefit of Discordant Voice feat through the bard's use of performance, is that enough to satisfy the requirements of Saving Finale? Thinking of making a Dawnflower Dervish (ie, self-only inspire courage) and it'd be nice to still use this spell on allies if possible...

No, it doesn't. It requires ranks in perform (sing or oratory) to take the feat, but the feat doesn't require a specific performance to use it. It works on allies when doing any performance, even one that is used on enemies like fascinate/suggestion.
By singing out a precise tone, you cause discordant vibrations to run through allies’ weapons.
Prerequisites: Bardic performance class feature, Perform (oratory or sing) 10 ranks.
Benefit: Whenever you are using bardic performance to create a spell-like or supernatural effect, allies within 30 feet of you deal an extra 1d6 points of sonic damage with successful weapon attacks. This damage stacks with other energy damage a weapon might deal. Projectile weapons bestow this extra damage on their ammunition, but the extra damage is dealt only if the projectile hits a target within 30 feet of you.
Further, DD may call it a battle dance, but no where does it say you have to use the perform (dance) skill, or even be trained in it (it DOES explicitly say you do not need to see nor hear your own performance to benefit, though!).
In any case, my character would have sing, dance, and...keyboard ranks, anyway. Even if you do need to dance, you can sing and dance at the same time.

Well yes, that's why I'm asking the question, it seems RAW legit, but on shaky ground. The allies are affected by your performance due to the feat giving them a benefit when you perform. It's a loop hole, if it works. Hardly the first loop hole in the game if so.
EDIT: One limiting factor is that DV feat only works out to 30 ft, while as a normal bardic performance can potentially cover allies at much further distances. So there is also that...
