Last chance to pick a feat for my battle cleric

Advice

Quick summary:
Half-Orc, Cleric of Gorum, LV 9, CN
Weapon: +1 Spellstoring, Conductive greatsword.
Domains: Tactics and Protean (Tactics gives me free combat feats.
Playstyle: Battle Cleric. Some precombat buffs. First round selfbuff or groupbuff, then attack! Postcombat healing.

Feats:
1. Endurance (Half-Orc alt racial trait bonus), Diehard
3. Power Attack.
5. Craft Magic Arms and Armor
7. Improved Initiative
9. ???

Combat Casting? Combat Reflexes? Toughness? Something else? I can get any combat feat as a swift action for a number of rounds/day equal to my level via Tactics domain.

Your wisdom is appreciated. My first session is tomorrow.

Grand Lodge

Heavy Armor Proficiency.

Shadow Lodge

That or the one that gives Half-Orcs scent (APG I believe). Weapon Focus, Cleave (for Greater Cleave), Imp Sunder, Toughness, Quicken/Extend Spell, Furious Focus. Alternate Channeling.

Viability depends on his dex and he's contemplating combat reflexes.

On that note it would help to know your stats.

Number allotment: 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 10.
I have a 20 STR (18+2 half-orc to 20), 12 DEX, 14 CON, 16 WIS, 10 CHA, 10 INT. Numbers can switch. Can take up to a -2 on a 10 with good reason, but probably won't. Will likely get a +2 STR/DEX belt soon if not at character start. (Already have a +2 belt, for STR.)

What are your stats?

Ninja'd.

If you want to make the most out of the Tactics ability, maybe take a feat that is a prerequisite for a lot of feats. Combat Expertise (EDIT: oops, Int 10), or Combat Reflexes, for example. Maybe take a look at the Feat Tree and see what you can give yourself access to.

Otherwise, you probably can't go wrong with Combat Casting or Toughness.

Okay, then you don't qualify for combat reflexes so strike that from your list.

You're at the right dex level for full plate so heavy armor proficiency will net you +3 AC. If you have any doubt as to what feat you want that's a good deal unless you're relying on having full mobility. Plate is pricy, but less so than +2 dex on a strength belt, particularly since that impacts your cost to raise strength in the future.

I don't qualify for lots of combat feats with dex 12. Maybe instead Dex 14, Con 12 and take Toughness for the difference? Then can use combat feat in rounds per day for things like Dodge or Combat Reflexes as necessary. (Edit: Oh man, I forgot to put my ability increases at 4 and 8! Maybe put one in dex and one in wis?)

I also like Heavy Armor, because full plate is badass.

Furious Focus is good choice.

you had to use those numbers and couldnt point-buy?

seems... odd
personally i would prefer balancing my stats between STR and WIS so that they are both 18's

having a +5 STR vs having a +4 STR doesnt really do you much good, since its the even numbered modifiers that net you extra damage with 2HW

having a higher WIS modifier is good for getting an extra divine power to cast on yourself

Orc Ferocity: Once per day, when a half-orc is brought below 0 hit points but not killed, he can fight on for one more round as if disabled. At the end of his next turn, unless brought to above 0 hit points, he immediately falls unconscious and begins dying.

being able to burn a heal during this round with this ability kinda replaces the need for endurance/die hard doesnt it? that should free up an extra feat for more options to focus on fighting

heavy armor prof. is needed imo, as is having a higher CHA for your clericky things, so you dont really care about having that higher DEX
(also using a greatsword means you wont be able to carry a shield, so you need more armor to balance out the lack of AC if you're a battle cleric)

but all in all, i would say if you need a feat, go with furious focus because with only medium BAB you need all the help you can get hitting things

Okay, Furious Focus it is, thank you!

Yes, my GM doesn't use the standard point buy.
