PFS Vivisectionist Question

Lantern Lodge 2/5

Since brew potion is replaced in society by the extra bombs feat, and the vivisectionist replaces bomb with sneak attack, what happens with the extra bombs feat? Is it just wasted or am I missing something?

If memory serves, vivisectionists aren't PFS legal in the first place, so it's a moot point.

Sovereign Court 3/5

They've been illegal for play for a few months now, actually. Whenever they allowed Aasimars, Tieflings, and Tengu without sheets, they changed the legality of some classes.

Jiggy is correct. Something about ..."a vivisectionist’s goals are not related to healing, but rather to experimentation and knowledge that most people would consider evil."

I guess 'most' in this case includes the campaign leadership, as it is indeed banned.

Being told directly by Brock at Dragon*Con last year, it was also the "taking Rogue's main schtick" thing.

Is Ragechemist PFS legal then?

This and other legality questions can be found in the Additional Resources document and the Guide to Organized play.

ragechemist is currently legal.

And yet, clerics of Asmodeus and Lamashtu still infest the Society...

Does this have to happen in every thread? It got old fast.

Yep, they are everywhere. As a matter of fact, I've had exactly 0 of them at 156 tables I've GMed. They are running rampant and infest every table of every game of PFS. Oh, and a good majority of those tables I GMed are in the same place where you have played and GMed most of your games -- the Atlanta area. So, how many different clerics of Asmodeus and Lamashtu have you actually seen at a table out of curiosity?

*Tries to put on factual true neutral face*

Actually, we have an inquisitor of Asmodeus, a cleric of Asmodeus, and a cleric of Lamashtu running around Atlanta now...The cleric of Asmodeus is now retired.

(I heard of another Cleric or Inquisitor of Asmodeus running around, but I haven't seen that character personally yet)

These have ALL been fairly recent developments, though, and I would hardly call it rampant.

Yeah, 3 or 4 characters is hardly "infesting" the Society as far as I can tell.

The Exchange 4/5 5/5

The word of Asmodeus has been spread throughout Atlanta and parts (far) beyond. Order has been preached, contracts duly and faithfully upheld exactly to the letter, converts have been made from Tien Xa to *spoiler omitted*, and I have accumulated much power and wealth - as is rightful for someone as great as I.

- Venture Captain Cardamus Ispherion, Evangelist of Asmodeus.

Spoiler:
In all seriousness it all comes down to how the player plays the character. I personally think scrupulously lawful clerics of Asmodeus are much better fits for the Society than those of Rovagug and Lamashtu. Heck even of Gorum. (Explore, Fight, Kill?)

You would continue to say that if you saw my friend's cleric of Gorum. Let's say he plays 7 intelligence a little too well.
