Academie Campaign Guide

Homebrew and House Rules

Please Evaluate And Critique Honestly.

Academie Campaign Guide.

It is going to be a very open sandbox campaign setting. I am a very Players, especially Martial Players, should get shiny things style GM.

Any things that I missed or any thoughts on making it better?

CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM ONLY PLEASE

I would like to see some more info on campaign structure.

What is the motivation for the characters?

Will we build teams?

Added some more Character Creation Information.

What do you mean on the Campaign Structure?

Minor question, do you plan on expanding on the setting beforehand?

It sounds interesting, and at least for backstory creation (with the requirement including how/why your character has joined the academy), it seems like that could be good information.

Otherwise, I'm pretty much liking the houserules. I see the 'martials get shiny things' mentality :P

That is just it. The Way it is set up is meant to make it easier for people to make backgrounds.

They can create pretty well any fairly realistic Background and be fine. I can easily work nearly everything into this setting.

Now if you explicitly ask something I can probably answer it.*

*Disclaimer: The answer might be pulled out of thin air but can be considered Canon for this incarnation of the Rules.

Don't Suppose anyone knows a good Wiki/SRD style free site setup...

Obsidian portal is wikiish and free. I'm pretty sure you can set it up so anyone can edit and add pages.

Occupation Rules

How does the #of characters work? Do we each pick one of our five to go on each mission? Are we running several at once? Do they all gain rewards equally, or if we back-burner one will they fall behind?

Each Character is independent. You can only have 1 active character at a time.

But I am adding in a provision for you to use Squire & Leadership for free if you are willing to have the Squire/Cohort take up a Slot. But they still start as a new character of yours.

So you can have a Magus use the Squire Feat at level 3 to create and progress your 2nd Character while still playing your first.

After a while you will get missions that will grant you increased Character Slots and such.

TL;DR: Your characters are all separate. The all follow their own path.

EDIT: Those are the correct Occupation Rules. Also here is a link to the current Wiki.
