Feeblemind vs Break Enchantment?

Rules Questions

This came up in my last game session, to a mix of opinions. I wanted to solicit other opinions as well, or see if there is an official FAQ or something for next time around if possible.

The text of feeblemind lists what will break the spell:

"The subject remains in this state until a heal, limited wish, miracle, or wish spell is used to cancel the effect of the feeblemind"

unfortunately, break enchantment wouldn't work in this case as it isn't listed as a spell that breaks feeblemind.

yet the text of break enchantment lists what it will work on, and feeblemind qualifies as well, yes?

It IS an enchantment spell of 5th level or lower and is unaffected by both dispel magic and stone to flesh. Thus, it qualifies?

I would say that since the feeblemind text specifically states what breaks it that that trumps all other spell descriptions, including break enchantment

yet that sentence and reasoning will also equally justify the reverse?

explain ... because I don't see how Feeblemind stating specifically what negates it as justifying using break enchantment

No, specific trumps general. Feeblemind can only be removed by the listed spells.
