Orders didn't get merged - Confused and a bit sad

When I received the pending notice about 2306103 and immediately saw that it was within $10 of $100, I immediately order some Pawn bases and added them to my sidecart. I expected that the new order 2306133 would be shipped with the monthly order and that I would essentially get the bases for free once the $10 shipping credit was applied.

This doesn't seem to be the case. Should I have done something differently or is it possible to still merge these orders?

As I said I am just disappointed and confused at the moment.

It looks like you chose the option to ship your order with the next subscription shipment. Unfortunately, the "next" shipment at the time you placed the order is the December shipment. Once a subscription order has been created (which is when you get the first email), the way to add items to it is to select the "Combine with my pending subscription order" option. As it stands, the items are

I'm going to go ahead and put $10 in Paizo store credit onto your account and set your subscriptions to use it. That way you'll still get the discount, but not until the next shipment, when the items on order 2306133 will go out.

I didn't see that option when I made the order so thanks for the credit. I'll be more vigilant if I attempt another such maneuver in the future.
