Society Wizard Gear

Scarab Sages

So after shelving my first character in society, I have dusted him off and did an in depth audit of his gear and gold to see where he stands. Apparently my 9th level conjurer has about 26000 gp to spend...Wow!

Now what do I need as a high level PFS wizard? He currently has (as far as major $$ items)

Headband (+4 int)
+2 protection cloak
Lesser meta magic rod of Empower
+1 ring of protection
various wands (most powerful is a wand of glitterdust from a chrinicle sheet)
4 1st level pearls of power
Various scrolls

I use the character mainly as a bringer of monsters, but have spent alot of money on scrolls over his career adding to his spellbook. I would also be open to suggestion on what spells he should have. I have the basics (haste, dispel, summon monster, Pits, wall of ice, improved invisi, fly, stoneskin, stinking cloud, web..) and would appreciate an idea of tactics I should use. I am of the old school thought of wizard = blaster, but know its a different age and style anymore. So far, summoning stuff and blasting as appropriate or controlling the field has proven fine, yet he is still overshadowed it seems by powerclasses like magus/gunslinger/monks ect..

I considered ugrading the cloak to +3 and/or a staff of fire....thoughts?

whelp... i wrote a really elaborate explanation, but the interwebs ate it. so heres the TLDR version

Cloak of resistance (highest you can get)
Rod of Extend instead of empower ( unless you already took the feat)
Handy Haversack ( makes rummaging your bag a move action instead of a standard action to look for single use items or rods that are stored there otherwise.

Ioun Stones. Ioun Stones. Ioun Stones. there's a ?cracked/flawed? purple one that costs 2k and is like a spell storing item. The benefit over a pearl of Power? A self only divine buff can be cast in it from a friendly, and used later.

Scarab Sages

Headband of intellect.

...That's the first thing on his list.

To the OP: It's not a bad idea to get a moderately enchanted set of Silken Ceremonial Armor. A +1 Deathless (Resist 10 negative/positive energy damage and 25% chance to ignore negative levels) may save you a lot of pain.

Other nice options: Ring of Evasion, Ring of Force Fangs (to eat those nasty back-row targeting force effects), Clear Spindle Ioun Stone for your Wayfinder... there are quite a few nice options out there.
