I think the URL changed when they switched over to wikia.

Thanks Kvantum but that's the address of the old defunct wiki. The new one is here:

but it has been inaccessible all day.

The wikia one was discontinued last year but wikia retain a 'stub' there for their own reasons.

Not sure its fair to call it a stub - it has three thousand articles, and people do add more occasionally. Viewing it gives me a headache, however, thanks to all those flashing adverts.

It was frustrating that the "real" wiki was down for what seemed like most of the weekend. I had a complete purple worm article just sitting on my computer, with nowhere to go.

It went down at about 11pm EDT last night. I'm going to see if I can get in touch with Andrew to see what's up, ass he knows most of the behind the scenes technical stuff

edit: talked to him, its something with the host, we have a ticket open with them to take care of it.

Well... I don't know that I'm an ass, but I do wish I'd noticed the problem earlier. ;-)

As it turns out, we're also having our host move us to a more stable hardware node later today. So with any luck, the intermittent problems we've been having lately should settle down.
