Bludgeoner feat and morningstar

Rules Questions

Morningstar has B/P type and Bludgeoner makes it easier to give non-lethal damage with lethal bludgeoning weapons. Will morningstar count for this feat or it should be B type only weapon?

Grand Lodge

Morningstar works. The weapon does not need to be bludgeoning only.

Exactly. Otherwise you'd have about 4 diff editions of clerics that have been indiscriminately killing skeletons the wrong way.

Well i thought so:) As RAW it is ok. But of course i find it reeeeeeealy hard to see a morningstar hitting somebody and doing no lethal damage.... You know with all those spikes:) But RAW is RAW so thanks a lot:)

Grand Lodge

Anyone can deal nonlethal with a Morningstar.
It's just that they normally take a -4 to attack rolls when doing so.

I am with you but it is a game .. :)

I suppose it requires some imagination to flavor the attacks made, so that they do not break your suspension of disbelief.

If you don't have any, I would go to the Advice board for some hints on flavoring attacks.

Everyone has imagination, but sometimes you may need a hand to help you unlock it.

Just a note: The morningstar is not B/P. It is B&P. B/P is a choice between B or P. B and P means both apply at the same time.
