Pathfinder content in XML format?

Technology

So I've been searching for a few days, but can't seem to find anything concrete...but has anyone out there done the work of converting applicable content (particularly Races, Classes, Feats, Spells, etc.) into any kind of XML format?

I suppose it would be fairly trivial to convert the d20pfsrd.com Trait/Feat/Spell DBs from Excel to XML, but wasn't sure if such a conversion would be "complete" (include all important data fields). Also, of course, those don't include Races and Classes, which are the ones more immediately interesting to me.

So...anyone out there tried this? Any success?

For the curious, this is for yet-another-iPad-character-sheet app.

Probably the best bet would be to take your favorite Excel Character Sheet Generator, find the tabs with the data and export them as XML - newer versions of Excel already do that.

I see where you're going creating the files from http://www.d20pfsrd.com/, webpages, but you'd have to create and maintain your own data scraping scripts.

HeroLab datasets are encrypted with a keyfile.

Let us know the name of the app when you're done!!!

Well, it looks like I'm going to have to resort to, basically, manual creation and updating of my datasets. I couldn't find anything else even close to fitting my needs. Ah well.

I'll try posting a link to some screenshots once I get something even close to worth showing, and maybe ask for some volunteer help at that point.

So I just stumbled across this app and I'm really digging what it could do. I was wondering if you ever created those files from scratch? I'm considering going through and doing it myself but I thought I'd see if you'd made any progress.

Click on his name and you get his posting history, including a link to GitHub. Looks like he did a lot in 2013, but then it slowed down. You can also find his e-mail address there.

EDIT: Don't underestimate the task of building overviews over Pathfinder. I spent numerous (100?) hours to make up my own feat table, and it's not done yet. And feats are only a part of the whole.

I've been using this app for a bit and I'm looking into expanding it with .xml files! The prospect seems really exciting!

Would you be willing to share your Feat table?!
Thank you!!!
