I've finished the non-magical manual conversion. I'm hoping someone can look this over to see if things are balanced and if everything is clear. I'd appreciate it if the reviewer could look closely at the costing section, as I'm considering ripping the whole thing out and figuring out something using the normal magic item pricing rules, but I'd prefer not to if it is not needed.

Feel free to make comments in this thread with regards to any issues that you can see in the conversion.

So, has anyone had a chance to look at this. Is anyone interested in this at all? Should I continue converting the other part of the crafting rules (magic manuals and tomes), or am I the only one interested in any of this stuff?

Bumping this up for more visibility. Once this has been reviewed and is live, I'll be able to work on the Magical Tomes crafting rules.

Please continue. I like what I see so far.

Do you have any thoughts on how well balanced this is and if the pricing methodology is appropriate or is too complex?

Some of the pricing rules have been modified and penalties for misinterpretation and gross misinterpretations have been given more bite.

All the equations, examples, and sample manuals have been redone to better balance things and simplify the calculations. Is this something that seems usable and balanced, or do I need to go back and take another shot at these rules?
