Does anyone have a official (or unofficial) timeline?

Shattered Star is clearly going to take place after several other AP's (Second Darkness, Rise of the Runelords, Jade Regent, Curse of the Crimson Throne), and I'm interested in running a number of AP's, combining perhaps two of them and then tieing the others in to one another, letting players run the children or associates of previous characters or playing members of the same organization and so on.

I'm pretty new to the AP's - I've started my AP subscription with Skull and Shackles, I've picked up old copies of Second Darkness and Legacy of Fire during a great sale Paizo was having and of course I bought the anniversary edition of RotRL... probably going to pick up up Jade Regent next. I would love to know if there is any sort of 'order' or official timeline to the start of these various AP's so that if I decide to play them in sequence I organize it all properly.

Thanks in advance.

Nothing official I'm afraid... I actually started my Curse of the Crimson Throne adventure path fourteen years after the Rise of the Runelords campaign. I'm gonna judge where to put Second Darkness when and if I start it after this one (or maybe I'll put it somewhere in between).

Shattered Star presumes that RotRL, CotCT & SD have all occured, with positive results for the PCs. Some number of years have then passed before Shattered Star occurs, but that number is relatively fluid - James has mentioned that it is not unreasonable to have yuor Shattered Star Characters being the children of the characters who went theough one of the previous APs. The events of the past APs also act more or less independantly, so their interaction shouldn't matter either.

If you want to lock things down tighter however, have RotRL start in late 4707, CotCT start early 4708, SD late 4708 & Shattered Star late 4712, which corresponds with their release points.

Jade Regent has got to fit in there somewhere though as it comes after Rise of the Runelords but presumably before Shattered Star, no?

The rule of thumb EB was using was take the date (month and year)the adventure was released, add 2700 years to it. that is the year it occurs. Now convert the month name to its corresponding month on the Golorion calendar... that is the month the adventure occurs (kingmaker as an exception to this)

There's no official timeline, since we can't know how long it took each table out there to complete Runelords, Crimson Throne, and Second Darkness... and they CERTAINLY all took different amounts of time from each other. In other words, the only official timeline between those three campaigns and Shattered Star is the one you built in your games organically.

If you never ran any of those three campaigns and you're running Shattered Star as its own, though... it's been 5 years since Runelords, 4.5 years since Crimson Throne, and 4 years since Second Darkness.

So if I wanted to run them in order, I could run them as Runelords, then Crimson Throne, then Second Darkness, then Jade Regent... then an indeterminante amount of time before Shattered Star. Maybe wedge in Skull and Shackles sometime before it to break things up?

Doubt we'd ever get through all of that, but its fun to dream.

The reason I didn't mention Jade Regent in my original post is that it doesn't need to have occured for Shattered Star to have happened as far as I'm aware - The Varisia involvement is relatively slim, and are in areas that aren't going to be in Shattered Star.
