Question for Gen Con Special.

Will there be Xp given for part 1 before part 2? (provided we make it to part 2)

My character will be 6 2/3 going into part 1 and I want to know if I need to bring a leveled version for part 2 with me to the con.

(Also, a brand new character for the rest of the con, should the character perish in the first part.)

well thats the only event i am playing that character in.

so if you do not get XP between I dont need the leveled up version.

Yes you will get XP after Part 1 just like any other scenario.

Oh, and gold and boons, but usually there aren't items on the chronicle. Of course with some of the cool items these NPCs are using, it'd be pretty sweet for them to show up on the chronicle.. just sayin'

Upon doing some more thinking, I think I will go into the special at 6 1/3, NOT 6 2/3

that way if I do make it through round 1 I will still be 6 going into the second round.

I would prefer to be at the top end of the 5-6 sub tier for round 2 then the lowest end of the 7-8 Sub tier.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the specials have 7-8 tiers, I think its 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 8-9, 10-11, and 12+

Correct. Level 7 characters get to choose to play up or down.

Are you kidding? ALWAYS plan to level. It's three adventures to level, which is one day. The con is multiple days.

Plus, when you're overtired and need time to find food, you won't have time to think carefully about anything. It's way easier to be prepared.
