Flyby Attack + Vital Strike

Does this work? Flyby attack is worded differently than spring attack so I am wondering if Strix can get alot out of the vital strike chain.

One thing to keep in mind is unlike Spring Attack, movement while using Flyby still provokes attacks of opportunity. Otherwise, I think it works fine.

could you cleave (chain) while using flyby attack?

As far as I can tell, it lets you take any standard action in the middle of moving.

I would say yes to cleave also, based on the fact that it is also a standard action.
