Hey,
Played me first game of pathfinder last night and as i was not up generating a character yet, i downloaded some of the pregens.
On arriving home and getting PC_Gen to create a character i found that i couldn't use Pregen fighters stats as a guide for my own fighter, because it's used 25pts, not the 20 that are allowed.
Thinking this was strange i asked a friend in PFS to confirm the points used, and 20 is the correct amount allowed.
I went and checked the other Pregens that i downloaded.
Str Dex Con Int Wis Cha Pts
Wizard = 27pts 10(0) 14(5) 13(3) 18(17) 12(2) 10(0) = 27
Gunslinger = 23pts 12(2) 16(10) 14(5) 10(0) 15(7) 11(1) = 25
Ninja = 27pts 10(0) 18(17) 10(0) 13(3) 12(2) 14(5) = 27
Samurai = 24pts 15(7) 13(3) 15(7) 10(0) 14(5) 12(2) = 24
Fighter = 25pts 16(10) 15(7) 14(5) 12(2) 10(0) 11(1) = 25
Now, am i missing something or are these just not checked before being uploaded?

Pathfinder Society does not use the additional rules for middle/old/venerable age. While you can play a character of any age for flavor, old characters do not get any of the bonuses or penalties to their stats associated with age.
If you look at Ezran's stats, it does work out to a 20pt buy with the Human racial modifier factored in, as BigNorseWolf pointed out.
