Spells with Evil Descriptor

Sorry for rehashing this question but I need a definitive answer. Is casting a spell with an evil descriptor an evil act? Or is it even allowed in PFS Organizied Play at all? I have a player who wants to play a witch and take the Plague Patron Spells. However most of them have a evil descriptor

Why would it be?

The alignment descriptors are there for clerics in restricting what spells that they can cast/their gods grant to them. Perhaps how others will perceive them if they are seen casting them.

This kinda thing has reared its head in organized play for a while, it would be nice to officially not have to deal with it.

Since characters can follow evil deities, this hardly seems like an issue.

Of course the pallys will likely have an issue with using evil spells, especially many in the Necromancy school, but since you can legally choose to worship an evil deity and channel negative energy, it appears there is no restriction against using spells with the evil descriptor.

I would probably only question it if you're of a good alignment.
