Good not morning!

Barely morning here. Got a surprisingly full day ahead. Sister wants to do birthday lunch today (hers is Sunday) and I was wanting to do hot dogs and hamburgers for dinner tonight, so looks like there won't be much sitting around nothing doing for my 4th.

Good luck with the little one. Hope you have better luck today.

And nice choice of pic for the Steam group. :)

Rough morning, again.

Apparently, I'm not invested in my little one's life enough or else she wouldn't: have trouble with the potty, get into things, misbehave, hit me, *insert problematic toddler behavior here*.

I do so love when observers give such HELPFUL advice.

F@#k that s€$t. Even reading that boiled my blood. Kids will be bloody kids. Some times they're afraid of going potty. Sometimes elephants. Sometimes they don't even know what upsets them. The idea that is has any correlation to how much a parent is invested... grrrr. Arrogant, ignorant feckers.

I'm sorry you have to put up with people like that. I hope you enjoy the Skyrim and feel better.

Okay, it was in Kansas City, Kansas that the night ended.

Good news: Police tell me they are not going through with charges.

Bad news: The MMA fighter has a fine she's agreed to pay for her actions. Being as she's not disputing the charges, didn't do anything majorly wrong, did not resist arrest, and this is her first time being charged in Kansas for this... she's not facing jail time and they're not taking her before a judge. Deal was worked out with the DA, and the judge they called about it agreed to sign off on it. Frankly, I think the judge was just glad she didn't make more work for him. But the MMA fighter has been warned that if she does it again, they will seek jail time; she is a repeat offender in Missouri, after all. They also told her that, given her training, they can charge her with assault with a deadly weapon and justify it by pointing out that she's the deadly weapon.

Ugly news: I've been tapped as a witness if the police deem it necessary for prosecuting the third party in all of this. So has the MMA fighter. Which means I have to see that woman at least one more time. Joy.

Noooot exactly.

Using tongues to speak Boggard with a character who had never cast the spell before and therefore did not expect her name to be translated literally.

"Who are you?"
"Elegy Dragomir."
"Well met, Dirge Dragonspawn."

We descended into Space Mutiny from there.

That is extremely amusing! I love it when that happens!

You can always have an alternate personality take over the guest blogger spot. Downside: Arguments can be embarrassing.

It's not as fun as you think. Plus, the arguments tend to be only internal. Isn't that right, Magus?

She might want to run the plea bargain by a competent lawyer. I have known several people who have taken a plea bargain only to find out later that they are prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition or they are in the sex offenders national data base.

Got into another argument with my dad yesterday. Seriously, when people think of the stereotypical "MURICAN," I wonder how much is based off of him. His attitude and comments were beyond embarrassing, uncalled for, and (worst of all) rather loud in public. I won't go into what was actually said (avoiding dragging politics in here), but calling him on it was both satisfying and frustrating.
Glad you were able to stand your ground with your dad. I'm also sorry that you had to do that.

We had a lawyer present who looked over it. Very competent; he's handled cases for her a few times before, which is why she's not been in jail yet.
