Awesome! Thank you. I am now going to get your newsletter and, once I get an ID theft problem taken care of, you may be getting a subscriber. I have seen quite a bit of the free stuff you guys have put out and I like it. I just have had some issues lately that I don't want to affect my purchasing a subscription.
I got the code and am downloading now. Also just FYI, they have very slow download servers. I am downloading at only 62 kbs. I have an 800 kb connection.

The thing thast makes me sad about giveaways like this is that, great as they are as bait for potential new customers, they don't do much for the addicts who've already bought what's been given away. I'm not sure what a good solution for that would be though.

Well, I believe there is a Best of Kobold Quarterly coming out at some point this year. Maybe Wolfgang could do something extra cool with it just for subscribers or something ......

Ah, don't be a sad kitty...it's good for us subscribers if KQ brings in more subscribers. (Further, I think it's good if you try to get more like-minded subscribers from your circle.)

Oddly enough, I've never gotten around to subscribing, just bought the PDFs when they come out. I'd never had a compelling reason to sign up to the KQ site and store I think. Since I just did to get in on the Midgard Patron project, I'll be changing that once KQ17 comes out.
Subscribing is good. I've only gone for the electronic sub, but I've been happy with it.
Patronage missed:
I hear ya. If the Cash Fairy had brought me the money, I'd have signed up for Midgard and Kaidan. Missing those made me sad!

Yep, the magazine does need new subscribers to keep growing, but KQ does also have some goodies for subscribers beyond the four issues a year and the blog.
