Sage-Blooded Sorcerer with a Familiar?

Pretty self-explanatory, this one.

What's the easiest way for a sage-blooded sorcerer to get their familiar back? Preferably without losing any caster levels.

i don't believe it is possible without taking levels in another class that gets one, and then it would never increase in power without boon companion or something similar.

you still techinically have the arcane bloodline, so you can't take eldritch heritage for that.
i would say that taking eldritch heritage for the serpentine bloodline will be your best bet,
but you will need to take both the base feat and improved eldritch heritage
because serpentine grants a familiar for it's 3rd level ability, not 1st.
the eldritch heritage feats still have CHA pre-reqs which you will have to meet,
but you won't need to multiclass out of sorceror or anything, just spend 3 feats.
(and skill focus: diplomacy will synergize with a 15 CHA to qualify for imp. eld. heritage, and you will have the skill ranks from INT to max out diplomacy as well)
and you get to grow fangs too :-)
since it will be a while before you can take all 3 feats, i would probably only start with 13 CHA and boost it to 15 via headband/ioun stone by the time you take imp. eldritch heritage.
the familiar functions as normal except it uses your character level -2 for level-dependent abilities.
you are only given the choice of a viper from the original familiar list, but if you take improved familiar you should be able to choose from all choices granted by that.

Would he be able to take Tattooed Sorcerer?

I'm reasonably certain the answer to this is no, since Wildblooded archetype already modifies the 1st level bloodline power. Good thought otherwise, though.

Tattoed Sorceror wouldn't be compatable with Wildblooded/Sage because they both modify the 1st level Bloodline Power.

EDIT: ninja

i just realized that improved eldritch heritage isn't available until character level 11.
(which makes sence for 9th level BL powers you can gain with it, not so much in this case for a 3rd level power, but that's RAW)

awesome, i didn't realize there was another bloodline that gave a familiar.

It's not raw but, I suggest talking to your DM, unless he's a dick that's a feat at worst.

You're right, it's probably not an issue in non-PFS play.

It's in the same position as Mysterious Pistolero when it comes to archetype combinations it seems. Apparently by RAW, neither my earlier example nor Wildblooded Tattooed Sorcerer are allowed. However, as a DM, I'd allow a Wildblooded Tattooed Sorcerer (as well as a Mysterious Pistolero), and I expect competent DMs to do the same, unless the player is doing it for munchkin reasons and not for the RP value. Because really, what's so wrong about a normal Tattooed Sorcerer who's bloodline has mutated, or a really badass Gunslinger who fights with two guns and sheer willpower?

Is he really still an arcane bloodline sorcerer when he becomes wildblooded?
I'd think he only counts as a sage blooded sorcerer and thus can still take eldritch heritage arcane.

Yes, he counts as having the Arcane bloodline.

It's a mutated variant of the bloodline, so it's not really different enough to count for such.
