Paladin Smite Evil and CMB

Rules Questions

Quick question:

When fighting an evil foe (or evil outsider) would a Paladin Smiting Evil against the creature add to his CMB?

This came up grappling with Elyrium in ROTR: BO.

Yes, it is a bonus to attack rolls, and when using Combat Maneuvers you add all bonuses to your attack rolls to the check.

Thank you. Glad we got that right.

(The hedgewitch used a Gust of Wind spell from a scroll to batter Elyrium and when the little imp was close enough, the Paladin- already Enlarged by the party Diviner- grappled Elyrium. I love how the new CMB/ CMD rules work. SOOOOO Much easier. Then they drowned her in the pool. Gotta love party teamwork.)

Where do you get that from? All I find in the RAW is that CMB is based on BAB+STR+SIZE... some feats and abilities as well, but not anything else.

From D20PFSRD - Performing a Combat Maneuver:

When you attempt to perform a combat maneuver, make an attack roll and add your CMB in place of your normal attack bonus. Add any bonuses you currently have on attack rolls due to spells, feats, and other effects.
These bonuses must be applicable to the weapon or attack used to perform the maneuver.

Haha, wow, I'm bad at reading >.<
