Con Support

Liberty's Edge 5/5 **** Venture-Captain, Missouri—Cape Girardeau

As the Pathfinder Society coordinator at my FLGS, I was wondering what kind of support Paizo offers GMs with such events. I am presently scheduling for Comic Con 2010 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. This annual event is jointly sponsored by Marvels & Legends Comics and Championship Games.

I have also been asked to help coordinate PF events for Mid South Con (in Memphis, TN) and Egypt Wars (in Carbondale, IL), though I think some of my GM stable will probably go in my place to at least one of these events.

Any aid (or product support) from Paizo(and you, Joshua)would be appreciated.

I can certainly provide you with some Pathfinder Society posters to put up at your store(s) where you're running games in order to drum up additional players. Can you get me the contact information (phone, mailing address, store name) for each of those stores and I'll get some posters in the mail to them?

As for con support, send me an email: josh@paizo.com

Hi there,

Can anyone point me in the direction of who to contact about Tacti-Con 2015? Any GM or Pathfinder Society folks that I could get in touch with?

Thanks :)

This is in Denver in Sept? There's some information such as number of tables and GMs and such you need to get before requesting con support. I'd contact your local Venture-Officer and they can help talk you through what you may still need.

I'm in the Denver area and am a regular at the Cons. Unfortunately, as of now there will not be any official PFS play at Tacticon, due to issues with the con itself. Please don't ask for details...

The con is now run by a group called Gamers for Veterans, since the Denver Gamers Association was having problems. The new con website is
http://www.gamersforvets.org/

If you need something PFS specific, please contact the local VC Jacque Woods (she can be found here http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety/about/regionalCoordinators)or the local FLGS owner Jeff Kokx(posts here as Drogon)

Hi Hobo,

As GreyWizard77 said, we have had prior bad experiences with the organizers of TactiCon. After many years of running PFS games at their con we (the Colorado PFS team) have decided to no longer be associated with them. The same goes for the Genghis Con which is organized by the same people.

If you would like more details you can PM me or email me since you already have my email. Or you can contact Jacque Woods the Colorado Venture Captain as she would be the best person to talk to. Or, like Flite, if your Google-Fu is strong you can probably learn the details for yourself.

Just FYI for everyone else Mike and the PFS team at Paizo know about and support Jacque's decision to no longer organize PFS at their events. Once they realized how much PFS meant to their Con, they started asking stores and VOs from other areas to organize PFS for them. They contacted the VOs in Colorado Springs and recently as far away as Austin Texas. If they contact you please get in touch with the Colorado VO team so you can make an informed decision about supporting this organization.

Thanks,
