Pathfinder Online?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

In my years poking around the Internet I've made friends with a few people around the US and around the world. One or two have expressed interest in playing D&D but don't have people around them they know who play. I mentioned the crazy idea of somehow putting together a group that plays online, and it was taken well. My only problem is I'm not sure how to go about doing it.

Does anybody know how I can go about playing Pathfinder with my online friends?

Check out rpol.net
It has a dice roller built in, cost nothing, and is set up well for play-by-post games, which are a bit slower than normal, but, you take what you can get, eh?
Or, you can all make aliases here on Paizo, and start you own discussion thread and game thread for play-by-post. Paizo has entire forums devoted to just such an idea.

Really? That's awesome, I'll check it out.

I would strongly recommend Maptool (virtual tabletop software) in combination with Skype (VOIP). I have been using this combination for almost 2 years and it has been awesome.
