Advice

So, i want to make a summoner type character and wanted to be focused on that, what are some options for beefed up summons, using multiclassing.

Plains domain druid is cool, with the doubling spell duration. Do this work with the summoner "summon monster ability". Are there other domain or abilities that other classes get? Like verdant alt that gives your leafy summons.

Also, 1) do your feats that effect summons effect your summon monster spell ability?
2) do they effect your eidelon?

1. If the feat affects spells and SLA's then yes, but if not then no. Augment Summoning affects both.

2. No, not unless you use the Summon Eidolon spell.

PS:It is better to not multiclass when dealing with casters in general cases. I would not take more than a one level dip in any case.

I have a master summoner that dipped into nature oracle for the animal friend revelation. This allowed him to take summon nature's ally as an oracle spell opening up the Moonlight/Sunlight/Starlight summons. Those feats read: "Creatures you summon..." so it works for the summoner's SLA. Oracle casts with cha, which is also the summoner's casting stat, so I got 4 orisons, and 3 1st lvl spells (cure light, remove sickness, SNA1) castable 5 times per day.

My summons will eventually:
shed light as a light spell.
immune to confusion and sleep effects
natural weapons are treated as silver for overcoming damage reduction.
Blind-Fight feat
+5 bonus to Perception and Stealth checks in dim light or darkness
natural weapons are treated as cold iron for overcoming damage reduction.
immune to blinding or dazzling effects
natural weapons are treated as magical for overcoming damage reduction.

Now, the three feats don't all mesh that well, I'll have to talk with dm about whether I can turn the lights on and off, of if I can choose to have only one feat affect them or not, but they're nice buffs for them either way.

Yeah, plains druid you get double duration and 10 ft move for any pony, horse, auruch, bison, etc. And mount as a 1st lvl domain spell,4 hours long at first level lol. Can a cleric take druid domains?

Looking over the spell list, that's a beefy pony for the low levels, but aside from those summon feats, are there others?

There's a skeletal summon feat, that's once a day. I saw a sorc bloodline that gives dr/evil or good based on spell level, and I think you could get the one i mentioned before, the leafy summons, via eldrich heritidge, but that requires skill focus (x) to get that blood line power.

Ah, finally figured out what you were talking about. I had never read those druid domains before. :)

Yeah, that's to only druid domain, I think, that gives your summons a boost. A seratist cleric can get the plains the domain too, as he can get any other domain.

i looked at the eldritch heritige feats, and you can't get a lvl 3 power till 11th, the verdent power gives summons +2 nat ac. It's to bad there's no synergy for that fire music feat, as it gives summons fire resist 5 and some mini fire damage.

A cross blooded sorc 3 could gives summons dr 2/adamantine and +2 nat ac, if you were a verdant/bedrock wildblooded bloodlines.

I was thinking mystic thurge could be good if you did sorc 3/cleric 3, as you gain lots of spell casting (although -3 vs pure clerics or sorcs). But master summoner and cleric/druid with the plains domain can get a long lasting equine, I wonder if that domain ability can summon hippos or rhinos, as it mentions mastdons, bison, and aurochs.
