The party shrugs something but they hear a soft falling sound behind them. As they turn themselves, they see that Robbyn has fallen asleep.

Indra and Iqaal immediately wonders what happened and they identify that a sleeping spell targeted them. They sense that it was linked to Findlefarb getting closer to the hag face illusion on the wall. Both agree that it was a trap but don't understand why it was set this way.

The party wakes up the witch and passes through the next door and enters a long, high-ceilinged hall partially flooded with murky, stagnant water. The sound of slowly dripping water echoes ominously throughout. A massive banyan tree has breached a large section of the south wall, and the tree's enormous invasive roots now extend several feet into the hall. Long sheets of thick moss and other detritus cling to the twisted tree roots, forming a curtain-like barrier.

Robbyn, Braggett and Findlefarb can see a cathedral-like chamber with high, vaulted ceilings supported by square pillars.

Dominating the middle of the hall is a huge mound of undulating gray-green flesh covered with weeping scarlet boils. The entire mass stinks of a weeks-old corpse. Clustered next to the mound are a half dozen figures, gluttonously feeding on its putrid flesh. Four have long teeth and pallid flesh stretched tightly over emaciated bodies. Two others are malformed, hairless, pustule-covered corpses that move and snarl more like an undead hound than an undead man.

As light spills into the room and the door creaks, they all turn red eyes your direction.

Cast grease on the area marked in red on the map. Reflex DC 15 save.

Dark Archive

Lord Braggett attacks and hits the closer ghoul while Iqaal casts a spell to hinder the enemies' movement.

He successfully identifies the two kind of undeads as ghouls and festrogs. They seem to be harder to attack with channeling energy than usual. The ghouls have a bite than might transmit a disease and they also can paralyze their opponent. The festrogs have pustules that can explode when they take piercing or slashing damage and potentially expose his opponent to another kind of disease. They also can feed on their opponent if they manage to bite them.

The two festrogs run towards the party. The left one manages to maintain his balance on the greasy area while the other rushes to attack Lord Braggett. Both try to bite their targets but only the one targeting Braggett succeeds. He seems to be revitalized by the feeding on the gnome's flesh.

Agis blasts only air while the sylph witch splatters a vial of holy water on the pillar. Findlefarb bolsters his allies' courage while Indra throws an acid orb on the yellowish festrog, hitting it.

Two ghouls pass through the greasy area, the first one passing without troubles and the second one falling, spending time to get up. The other one bites Robyyn while the two others miss the gnome.

Lord Braggett surveys the situation with no little concern "Fall back!" With the threat of being surrounded very real, he pulls on all the epic stories of few against many and comes up with a new plan "We'll trap them in the hallway, fight them one at a time!" He yells at the top of his voice.

I don't want to leave people high and dry, so I don't want to move unless y'all agree and Robyyn makes his save against paralysis.
BTW, Zinou, what is the DC for Robyyn's saves?

Unsure if his retreat would place his charges in more danger, Lord Braggett instead lashes out at the nearest Ghoul green "Haha!" He then takes a step back, favouring the side where the Festrog ripped out a chunk of flesh, the gaping wound obviously troubling the young knight "Pfft, 'tis just a flesh wound! This is a hard fight, take your time to discuss your decisions. Your final one is a good one, Braggett :)

The sylph witch succeeds in resisting both the poison and the paralysis to the party's relief. Both were DC 13
Both Braggett's blow and Iqaal's acid splash connect! Watch the cover, though, Iqaal. With such a roll, even with -4 you hit, but it might not be the same next time ;)
The greener ghoul seems to be almost down but still stands.

One of the festrog steps closer to Agis while the other follows Braggett. They bite and claw their opponent fiercely but only a claw pierces Agis' flesh while the other one is much clumsier and bites the pillar instead of the gnome!

Seeing the creatures advance even further Indra knew this wasn't going to end well. She realized the things were undead and knew, beyond a doubt, that very little she could do would be of use against them. That in mind she cast a blob of acid out at one of them and then began to retreat further back into the room they just came from.
