Terrain Toolbox is the first in a planned series of books that offer advice and tools for GMs to create more memorable encounters. Terrain Toolbox is designed to increase the creative use of terrain in your game, making battles more dynamic.
The book begins with general advice for designing terrain effect and special abilities. It discusses why we use terrain, different things terrain can do, and how the terrain might change throughout an encounter.
Terrain Toolbox also contains forty-eight sample terrains, including a blood mage's circle, solid clouds, and lightning pillars. Each sample terrain includes advice on how to use the terrains, and most include mechanical and cosmetic variations.
NOTE: This is the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game compatible version of the product. It is also available in a 4th Edition compatible version.

This book made me feel dumb. There isn't much too it, because it's a simple concept. Give rules to terrain to make it more interesting, but that's why I feel stupid. This makes games amazing. Instead of monsters and traps over and over, make the environment interesting. Not just describing it but making it do stuff.
There is so much imagination stemming from this small product and its all things that come up too but it just gets ignored in favor of moving the game along. This one product will enrich your games immensely. If you don't have a similar product get this. You need it. Five stars.

Yes, as Knifestorm mentioned it's now in the public domain.
When I started Sneak Attack Presses, I decided I did not want to lose money, so the first few books we did were completely public domain art. As we grow that's changing (the interior art in Terrain Toolbox is all original), but CDF's painting just captured what I wanted so perfectly that I don't think I'd want any other piece.
(Amusingly I recently saw a Kickstarter Project that also had the same idea.)
And reviewed here, on DTRPG, posted about it on RPGaggression and sent it to GMS magazine - great cover-choice with "Der Wanderer im Nebelmeer", btw.! :)
Based on Endz's review I am going to pick this one up. I also have to agree with E about the bookmarks. Definitely a pet peeve of mine. Basically no PDF product should be without bookmarks. Period. Anyway, totally looking forward to using this!
Elorebaen, you'll definitely enjoy this one! Though no bookmarks are a slight bummer, I gladly printed this one out and it has seen some use since I got it - immensely useful for DMs and a cool supplement to Rite's "101 Hazards and Disasters" and similar DM-godsends.
