So were these redesigned to allow any class to play? I remember them being focused for certain classes. Any plans on doing a new series?
They are designed for a particular class and level combination. One could make more open adventures, I suppose, but I think it would be a truly daunting task. Next in the series is 1 on 1 Adventures #12: The Journey to Riddle Canyon. From here on, they're all Pathfinder. Journey to Riddle Canyon is designed for 1 GM and 1 player, fighter level 6–8.

Well, I don't know. Does anyone have any experience with the 1-on-1 advantures? Also, these are basically conversions. Will they also be including something new in with the 11 1-on-1 modules that will be offered for this price? OTOH, for 11 modules in one book, it just might be worth the price. After all, $32 is not that bad.
Yes. While I used to game with a couple different groups, over the years those folks have moved away, left gaming, or simply irritated me too much to continue running adventures with them. I only game 1-on-1 any more. I find it to be a wonderful experience! I am excited that someone out there is finally making products for me!

Hmm, I had this in my cart for the next time I had spare cash. I hope there will be a reprint?
Is there some reason you're thinking it is out of stock?
I may be reading the page poorly, but as far as I can tell, I can purchase it now if I want.
(I do want it, but can't get it right this second, unfortunately.)

Well, mainly it was the big red letter text informing me that it had been removed from my shopping cart because it was unavailable. But you're right. I just added back again. Must have been a glitch of some kind.
(and it looks like Masika had a similar belief.)

Your not dreaming. I tried to order the print version just now and got told it had been removed as it was unavailable. Is this a web page glitch or is this not available for order?

Now my page says currently unavailable.
I'm inclined to think it's a glitch but we probably won't know for sure until at least tomorrow (Monday) when Paizo people can say.

Hey all, things have been a bit odd with One on One Compendium printing. We printed up a run that we thought appropriately sized and we sold out of it right away. Which is, for customers and retailers, both a Yay! and Nay! moment. Yay! in that we're happy to see a Pathfinder product do well, but a Nay! moment in that it adds some additional delay in retailers being able to restock to suit their orders.
We're printing the 2nd run at the moment and books from the 2nd print run should be on shelves by November 17.
So, my apologies for the delays and confusion, to both customers as well as Paizo.

Awesome. Thanks for the update. I'll be sure to order ASAP when the 2nd printing is available.

Wow, this is great news. I want the book but hadn't ordered it yet. I'm glad it's doing well for you!

Not a glitch. Our inventory updates throughout the day as we ship stuff, and our distributor also makes changes in theirs, but checking every product in both databases all the time wouldn't be a good idea. So we recheck both inventories when people try to check out with a product, and if it has gone out of stock between the last time we checked and this time, you get that message.

Cool, ta. Just waiting for the restock!

haha! I'm teaching my 9 year old niece the game, and I think we'll steer clear of that particular one as well. Does anyone know if most of the others from this company would be appropriate?

Should be able to answer that relatively soon :) The husband just received a notice of shipment for our copy!

The most disappointing purchase that I have made so far. They are so specific that I can't use them without tweaking it so that I make sure that the PC has help. Additionally, they are not good for building a solid foundation for a starting character, which I thought the concept would be ideal for.
Oh well, at least I bought the PDF version instead of the Paper...
I guess I can still use it, just not in the way I had hoped...

![]() |

The designer did state what class and level each mod was designed for so I wouldn"t be surprised if a simple tweak wouldnt allow for it to be changed for another class. That said, I like the idea of this 1 on 1 game session when the full group cant make a session but 1 might still wants to play...nice quick fill in.

I just bought this the other day, and there are a lot of editing mistakes. I haven't read most of it yet, but in what I have gone through I've seen several relatively innocuous typos (not such a big deal) and the cleric pregen in Vale of the Sepulcher's stat block is all wrong even at a casual skim (which is). (His weapon damage is listed as 1d8+2 on a +2 morningstar and 14 STR and he prepares cure spells in non-domain slots, and that's just from first glance.)
This isn't a deal-breaker for me, since I have the system mastery to spot such things and easily correct for them, but it's still not desirable. I'd be willing to compile an errata list if the publisher is still interested in updating this product; if not I can do it anyway and just leave it in the thread for GMs to find.

taks |

I picked it up too, but haven't gotten to the cleric one yet. Since I'm building in Hero Lab, it will automatically tell me the errors it finds. So far, it's mostly just missing bonuses from certain equipment (or abilities), and a few incorrect skill points.
Does anyone know where a discussion of this might be held?

All the adventures in this compendium were previously released for the 3.5 edition of D&D. It's not surprising that some mistakes were made during the update. One of the things I noticed was that the point buy on many characters doesn't make any sense. I guess it's playable as is, but it's not for perfectionists.

GM Rednal |
Gonna be totally honest here - as a GM, I don't care much if some NPCs don't perfectly follow point-buy rules. XD They usually need a leg up to challenge PCs anyway. ...Assuming, y'know, their points were bought instead of rolled or simply chosen to match the character.
If it's for individual characters, I still don't mind, especially if they trend high. XD A generous point buy is very good for solo games.

taks |

These are actually close to a 15-point buy. For the first one, the pre-gen is 3rd level, so the stats are largely irrelevant. If I started a character at 2nd, I'd make sure they were a 20 or 25 point build.
FYI, my son and I did a 10-hour marathon today (with a 90 minute break) and finished the majority of Gambler's Quest. He still has to wrap up a few loose ends and deal with the town, then it's off to
He went to 4th level, and will finish about half way to 5th. I'm going to let him rebuild his own character, too, probably 20 points.

taks |

We finished Gambler's Quest on Sunday and I pushed him to 5th level with a 25-point build. He's going through the follow-on (mentioned in my spoiler above) next, which will put him at 6th level and then will go through the remaining rogue books (the Olindor ones, plus the 6th Cavalier).

MariePastry |

I need a little help with something. In the adventure "The Star of Olindor" (level 6-8 Rogue), there is a Character named Azalor. His character sheet is split between pgs. 32 and 33. He is missing his "Tactics" and the first part of his "Statistics". Specifically "Ability Scores", "Base Atk", "CMB", and "CMD". Please help!

AnimatedPaper |

is it possible to play with pathfinder 2e?
I'm really finding 1 on 1 adventure(cuz not enough time and not enough the plaers-specially don't match time each others)
You can get a lot of mileage out of already written adventures by simply sending a solo character that is +3 levels above the suggested level. +2 if you're doing a gestalt character. You may have to fudge things a bit, but it's doable, and the XP awards work as written.
This is within the standards of CRB adjustments for smaller parties, so I'm not making this up on my own.
