Are these chips an inch across?

Not to be nit-picky....but Warhorses and Tigers and Rhinos are all large creatures that take up 4 squares.

Ok so Im nit-picky!

Seconded. These look really cool but I have no idea how big they are, so I'm not going to order them until I find out.

Also, what material are they made out of? What's the finish/coating like on them?

conflict chips are all large sized creatures, and the chips themselves are the same size as the original base size for large D&D minis (standard poker chip size).

They are made out of high quality poker chip material. The finish is very nice and they hold up really well to lots of beating. I have been using the horse set myself for the past couple of years.

I picked up a bunch of these at Origins this year and they are great. I especially like that they have a metal core and can work with magnets like Alea Tools.

The description notes the basic set and the deluxe, "appropriate model" set. I take it that this item is the basic set. Does Paizo sell the Deluxe set, and if so, what is the price?

We don't have that set. I've removed the reference from the description.

These are less expensive and lighter than miniatures so carrying a collection over to a friend's place is much less likely to require a corrective massage (Bummer) or limit your beer purchase (yay)

That said, I don't want a Bag of Tricks Set. I want a set of 20 Orcs, a set of 3 or 4 of each type of Giant, a set of Demons, a full set of Dire Animals with multiple Dire Rats and multiple Dire Wolves...

I summary, I think the product idea is a good one but they haven't taken it far enough to really be useful.

They fit perfectly on the map in a large space. You can also put them in a small dice bag and select them randomly for a random effect. I like the horse set, as well, you can set riders minis on top of them.

Saw these in use here in the Shield Lands back in LG. Excited to finally buy my own set after all these years.
