Zarvas, having grown up in about the most anything-goes environment imaginable, is pretty open about most topics, and inconsequential things such as 'taboos' and 'personal space' are all but unknown to him. He is tan with dull yellow stripes and has eyes unusually big even for a frog. He stands 1'11” and weighs 30lbs wet. He is extremely sociable and talkative and is always eager to help his companions, though will not hesitate to correct a sleight (if necessary, in a crafty and underhanded way). Of course, having been a devotee of Calistria his whole life, he tends toward the amorous, particularly with other Grippli (or anything that might be somewhat similar to them).
Zarvas spent much of his time in Katapesh exploring the high and hard to reach places of the city, and continues to loves taking opportunities to put his mobility and acrobatic abilities to the test as often as he can manage. And though he also enjoyed Katapesh's cosmopolitan atmosphere and meeting and observing new people from all over the world, he certainly faced the harsh realities of prejudice and is under no illusion that Grippli are easily accepted by everyone.
