Okay, so I have read through the Oradin Guide. And I am building the character outlined in this post. My question is for the guide though. In the equipment section, he marks a couple of items as "FREE UNLIMITED ALL DAY HEALING FOR EVERYONE EVER". How exactly do these items work? From what I can tell, they give you Fast Healing 1, which is not enough to make up for the HP lost due to Life Link. I don't understand how either of these items can give "unlimited all day healing for everyone". Any explanation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :D

Also, I was looking at the Druid's Vestments. Another use of Wild Shape a day could be handy.

Another good point. I'm not looking to be the tank, but I don't want to be a glass cannon either. I know you don't get Amor bonuses in Wildshape, does that include items such as bracers of amor?

Also, what about an amulet of Mighty Fists? When I wild shape would I still get that bonus to my natural attacks?

Good question. I think I would prefer that my armor have the Wild enchant on it anyway, I can see how totting around barding everywhere would be a little annoying. I would definitely want to outfit my AC as well as best I could. At level 8 could I afford armor with the Wild Enchant on it? It is a +3 bonus isn't it?

Hey everyone, I recently got into a game that is in progress. The starting level is 8 with a 25 point build. I want to play a Human, Wildshape focused Druid with an animal companion. I would prefer to be a Dire Tiger with a Tiger AC. My biggest issue with creating characters above 1st level is the equipment. Dragonhide is not readily available. I have to actually acquire it in game through story. I know that that is something that I will want with a Wild Enchant on it.

One more thing, the only books are available are Core and the Bestiaries.

Ace, have you heard of the Final Fantasy D6 system? I think it would be better to run this game in. It is based off the Final Fantasy D20 system....which is based off of Pathfinder.

I loved me some FFIX. I haven't played it such a long time, I would be down for this.

I still need to get a character going for this... How long is this going to be up?

Okay, I have two ideas. Either a Human Kensai or a Halfling Slayer. But I noticed those two races aren't on the acceptable races list.

This does seem interesting. What does the party consist of as of now? If there are any roles that need to be filled, I am more than willing to step into it.

I plan on attending PaizoCon this year. This will be my first time going as I just started playing in PFS about a month ago. I was looking over the schedule for the day that I plan on attending and noticed one seminar that I am extremely interested in going to, but it is full. My question is, will they allow me in in the case that there is a no show?

I'm thinking about applying for a job there. I have a degree in game design and knowledge in Programming. That seems like an easier way in :P

PFO is a(n) MMO that is currently in development. It is currently in early Alpha and about to open its doors to people who backed them on Kickstarter . If only I had known about this sooner...

It is an Official PFS game. The only difference I can think of is that we use Maptools so that we can play with people from all over.

Ok, Everything you guys have pointed out he is not allowing. So I am just going to build a normal Shapeshifting druid.

Yeah, he's pretty unbending about this. It's an online campaign, we play on Maptools. So there really isn't a Venture Captain for this.

I realize I may have been a bit disillusioned towards my hopeful build. I don't think it will work and now that this is a PFS Legal Character and already been played it's going to take some resources to change him. Can I change the variant of the class at all at this point? I may just go with a classic spell flinging druid.

Two words: Totemic Summons. Makes my Canines from Summon Natures Ally even stronger.

He says that if it ever appears on the Chronicle sheet then I can buy it.

He said it doesn't matter what anyone says. Even if Mark Moreland were to make a post on it, the book says its not always available so I can't buy it at all.

So for now, I will just go with Masterwork Wood Armor and hope I don't get swung at. I'm thinking now I should go for IUS, Aspect of the Beast (claws) and Razortusk....

Nevermind Mike. Ran all this by the Coordinator and he completely shot it down. Page 19 of the new PFS Guide First Bullet under the "Always Available Items" Section "This does not include equipment made from Dragonhide." Also, I would not be able to use my Wolf Animal Companion as the mount as well, I would get a separate animal Companion for this and I can only take one Animal Companion into Battle. Sooo.....the whole 1 Cavalier dip is a no go.

Mike you are a genius my friend. I am re working my Build now to include a level of cavalier. :P

Thanks Jiggy and Red. I want him to mainly be a flanker along with the Animal Companion. I was trying to find a way to get a pounce ability when he eventually got all his natural attacks. I think I found a few feats in the Core book and the APG that would work, but no Pounce yet :(

I have started to play a Wolf Shaman Druid in PFS. I want to build him to be primarily a striker type with spells that can buff him and his, his animal Companion, and his summons. I am definitely taking Spell Focus (Conj) and Augment summoning to buff the summons. I was told that getting Dragonhide Armor is really hard in PFS so what should I go for then as far as gear is concerned. And what feats are a must for Wolf Shamans?
