A question about the monsters in the final combat: GM eyes only: The Ancient Summoning Rune says following:
"The trap summons one of the creatures previously encountered from area B with the weak adjustment." Since the base monsters have different CLs, is the summoning list:
You can freely rebuild your character until the first time you play with it as a 2nd level character. So you can play with Ts*eki until they have 3 xp and then wait until you get the Character Operations Manual to see what the release version of biohacker is like. Then you can decide the mechanical details of your character. Thematicaly a psychic doctor is a nice concept. You can decide the fluff details of the mystic connection pretty freely as long as it doesn't affect the game mechanics.
The game rules can be found at Archives of Nethys for free (approved by Paizo). At least as long as you are considered a 'beginner', nobody's going to give you hard time for not owning the books.
The Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide v.1.1 revealed the Wayfinder boon race to be Ghibrani (either husk or membrane subspecies), with stats included within. Note that some scenario chronicles also reward players with new playable races.
Hmmm, a dip in Blitz soldier gives you a +10 ft. land speed, which doesn't help if you want to stay single class. Speed Suspension augmentation gives +10/20/30 ft. land speed for 1900/8800/32900 credits, which in turn allows you to climb/swim at half speed with Athletics. Only available at higher levels, but doable, I guess. Hydrojet armor upgrade gives you swim speed equal to half your land speed, so you need that first.
Is there any way for a barathu to gain a climb or swim speed? The Versatile Movement operative exploit and Climbing Master and Swimming Master feats all depend on your land speed, which for a barathu is zero. Same problem with the Athletics skill. Can a barathu do anything underwater? EDIT: Climbing Suckers (CRB) and Swimming Fins (Armory) augmentations give a flat climb/swim speed, but they only work with light armor, is there anything else?

Thanks, Thursty! Another couple of minor headscratchers: 1) A couple of skill checks lack an adjustment for the upper subtier:
2) How to get past the vesk bouncers, if the players fail to get through the fire exit. First time GM here, so don't know the usual process. |
