Thanks for the update, GM.

PM'ed Xabulba last Thursday with a gentle poke. No response yet, although he's posted on another game since then so he's still active.
I suspect we've been abandoned on this gods-forsaken moon.

Okay, so I PM'ed Xabulba again (on two different aliases with recent action) and I've gotten no response.
Since my latest message, he's posted 4 times on other games.
I thought we were doing pretty well on RP'ing, but I guess he got bored with us. I don't get how you can go through weeks of character selection only to wander away without a word right as it's getting interesting, but remember that this game started as a reboot of a SF game he abandoned long ago.
Sorry, folks, but I think it's over.
I'm choosing to believe that our encounter with the forest creatures ended in a pitched battle which we barely survived, but led us to an ancient temple with a working alien FTL spaceship. We collectively receive every prize known to intelligent life and retire, obscenely wealthy and popular.
And level up.
Cheers, folks. Better luck next time.

Yeah, I understand that. PbP is a strange animal, and it requires extraordinary patience. What overloads my blaster is when a GM just walks away without a word, all the while posting multiple times a day on his other games.
At least have the decency to spend 30 seconds posting "Sorry, guys, but I can't continue because..." and close out the campaign. No respect if you can't even arse yourself that much for a campaign that you created.
