Seriously, though, I'll definitely want to take Undercommon. It being the "Common" tongue of the Darklands, it would prove very useful for everyone to understand it!

I agree with you Harn, knowing the common tongue of the darklands is good.

Btw I am reading Into the Darklands. For those of you without darkvision you may want to get your hands on fire beetle glands. They are the light source of choice sense they cant be seen from a distance like normal light but act the same as normal light at close range. They last for 1d6 days unless they are harvested by someone that makes a Knowledge (dungeoneering) DC 15, then they last for 2d12 days.

Love the idea, but until someone brings that up in character, I don't think it'll occur to a certain sorcerer ;)

If we run into a trade post, caravan, or even a merchant. Then my guy will bring it up. Its common in the darklands, they dont really have wood after all.

Just an FYI, you guys are a lot deeper than the darklands =)
This is all new unfamiliar ground to even the deepest known dwellers. You'll see what I am talking about soon.

Shanosuke the deepest level of the darklands (deeper would be the core of the planet) is called Orv. Its completely unknown and no race has a any city down there. I would say its pretty much your place. ;P

Yeah well in a magical fantasy world, I can do what I will. I find it easier to make up my own stuff than to rely on books. I'm a better writer than a reader. If need be I have an alternate explination regarding this place. I will look up information on the darklands but for now, this is my own world MWAHAHAHAHA!! Welcome my puppets of entertainment to the unknown. Trust me it'll be fun.....I'm just gonna have to exaggerate a bit :p

Just wanted to say, sorry guys. I realized I kinda hogged the spotlight there for a minute, doing the whole solo scout thing. I'll try to be more mindful in the future. Roguish types aren't my forte (gotta branch out though).

I was thinking more sci fi and anime where tenticles seem to be nearly unstoppable and their is alot of running and blowing stuff up.

Being in a state of digestion isn't the way I like to picture my first battle in a campaign (though not the first time, you darn fiendish T-Rex from a different campaign!).

I've got to say the arrogance and down-right jerk attitude I was displaying before definitely came back to haunt me on this one. I love it! Can't wait for the RP to follow from my (Hopeful!) rescue.

Yeah you guys are just a smige too scared. Your on an island. There is a raft. Non of can communicate with the owner. Your only level one, the challenges on this island are nothing you can't handle just don't try and tackle them alone.
