Sorry for my slow posting here, I picked up a head wound last week and it is taking its toll. That said, I think I'm waiting on an indication from the team what you are up to.

You're all going to enjoy this a bit more if you ham it up for the cameras... it is that kind of scenario.

I get that. However, I believe that Saryn's position concerning the cameras and camera crew has been well stated. I figure he'll either be downplayed as a 'character' or be portrayed as the strong, silent defender of the group. If he's really lucky, she'll have him look like the buffoon trying to be the gruff martial type.

Sorry I'm usually really good about being active but I just started PbP up again after being away for like a year so I haven't gotten into a good routine yet, pretty much missed all week before I remembered I had to check here. I should be posting more often now that we're rolling.

No worries. This scenario in particular is pretty RP heavy and a little lighter on the combat. It can be a hoot if you are really getting into it but is not to every characters taste.

I have the Alien Archive, but I didn't know you needed that and a boon to play a wrikreechee.

I could rework him to be a core class- I think I’ll go with shirren, but I’ll keep everything else I can the same.

Purchases: I spent the initial 1000 credits for character creation. It is all listed on the Character sheet. He bought the basics:
lazer rifle
smoke and frag grenade
second skin and med kit

How do you want Kato to enter combat? My thoughts were to have him run in off the shuttle and roll initiative. He could act on the next round. His plan is to have a dramatic entrance, flash a smile at the camera and attempt to kick a rock over at the goblin (rolling a survival check to attempt a trick shot) and shooting it while it's distracted.

Just a quick note. I missed the part of the operative trick shot only using small arms when I built Kato. So I switched his rifle to a pistol and bought another grenade, engineering, trapsmith and navigation toolkits with the extra money.

Have him drop down the hole and appear at the back with the film crew. Sounds like you have got the spirit of what the film crew is looking for.

We have 3 mechanics, 2 operatives, and a soldier. Interesting party make up.

Organised play often has odd party mixs. Wait for the all wizard PFS party...

Generally at lower levels it doens't matter that much, higher you go the more important a spread is.

But SFS doesn't have quite the range of classes of PFS. Yet.

Can I check that only Fuskee and Saryn have the Claimant to Salvation boon?
In this case you don't need to have the chronicle assigned to this character, just have actually completed Clain to Salvation with any character prior to starting this scenario.

@Kato, I assume you made the switch of skill points to point one into Prof(archeology) which will be int based, so a bonus of +6. With a take ten, that gives you a score of 16, and 32 credits.

@Saryn, how do you have the Exo-guardians faction when you have acquired reputation for the acquisitives?

@all - I do need to know how you respond to the idea about a sequel, it feeds into the reporting conditions

I can't report without these rolls, as they potentially affect reporting conditions as well.

I put the wrong information in for him when I first started. Now I have the Exo-Guardians slotted instead of the Acquisitives so I can gain prestige with the correct faction.

From page 7 Pathfinder Society RPG Guide v1.0
Faction: Every faction offers a core Faction boon that allows
characters to champion that faction for adventure. Characters
slotting these boons earn Fame and Reputation with the boon’s
associated faction, effectively allowing the character to swap out
what factions she’s working for on a scenario-by-scenario basis.

So you are using the free rebuild at level 1 to rebuild the faction boon from Acquisitives to Exo-guardians?

I'm supposed to note rebuilds on the chroncile, so I've updated that for you.

Your other option is that you puchase the Exo-Guardians Champion boon (2 fame) and can then freely apply credit to either faction going forward. If you want to do that instead I'll note the fame purchase on the chronicle instead.

I have done Claim to Salvation as well, still waiting for Mobius to hit level 3 before I can assign him the chronicle though.

Also, my prof(archaeology) is +7 so a take 10 gives me 34 credits. I hadn't changed it on his sheet as I never saw the answer to whether he could use physical science or not. But I changed it now. I took a point out of sleight of hand. He didn't use that skill yet so it wouldn't change anything. I take it back at lvl 2.

I didn't realize it would cost to add a faction boon. I'll go with that though rather than a rebuild.
Edit: I see it now. Definitly spend the 2 fame for the additional faction.

@Mobius, It looks like I didn't cross it off you to begin with. Note to self about writing up chronicles late at night - just dont do it.

@Chaiyek I had to change yours too, as I didn't cross off the delver boon that you are only eligable for if you have already done Claim to Salvation.

I still need feedback on a sequel, currently one in favor, one against. And our Yoski still have a chance to influence the crowd in their favor.

The reporting condition is related to the character unfortunately.

If voting is secret then Saryn is for. But only if it is secret.

It is what you say to Luwazi, you can drop her a secret IM without others knowing.

Quick question. Does that mean that Claim to Salvation will be my 7th Chronicle? And that I receive all the rewards in that chronicle like Fame, XP and credits?

If you didn't apply Claim to Salvation to a first level character, you must wait until they are 4th (the level of the pre-gens). Unless you have module/AP credit, that would normally be around chronicle 10
