Calistan doesn't like the look of any of this stuff and avoids it. Anxious to move on.

How much damage did Calistan take when Aviendha got hit?

Scarab Sages

@Calistan, it seems 0. In hindsight one of the attacks missed so Aviendha only took 4 damage. And I think you only transfer damage if it's 5 or more

Torche isn't able to make out what the 3-fingered gauntlet does..other then being magical.

Grimdoc winces at the pain from the bite as he tries to shake off the sound of screaming.

Grim will, shake+2: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 8 + 2 = 30 vs plants shriek

"Ouch! Get 'em plants...and watch their crazy noises. I will chop them and show them who's boss."

He drops his hammer and swings at the one north of him with his battleaxe.

Grimdoc MW battleaxe: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 for dmg: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Samuel AC is currently +1 for being next to two allies.

Scarab Sages

As the hippogriff is tossing up it's lunch (ain't you glad it isn't flying above you now? ;)
Aviendha manages to hit one of the plant creatures.

Marcel is unable to think of anything other then the bile that is swelling up inside of him

Which is no problem for Grimdoc, being a though, hardy dwarf and all that..even though his aim is a bit off..maybe he was more effected then he leads you to believe

Samuel does a good copy of Grimdoc's action..keeping down his lunch..but unable to focus enough to hit

Calistan moves forward so he can see into the room and sees the Hippogriff and Marcel doubling over in sickness. The deaf oracle doesn't understand why everyone is keeling over in nausea! He does see the Grimdoc is hurt so he pops his Wand of Cure Light Wounds from his spring-loaded bracer and moves again into the room.

Scarab Sages

K, I'll just move Torche forward for now to keep thing moving

Calistan moves forward, ready to heal with Torche right on his heels

The plant things go into a flurry of attacks

One keeps going for Grimdoc
to hit AC Grimdoc tendril 1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
to hit AC Grimdoc tendril 2: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
to hit AC Grimdoc bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

but fails to get to the juicy dwarf flesh under all that armor

While the other one tries to do the same to Aviendha

to hit AC Aviendha tendril 1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
to hit AC Aviendha tendril 2: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
