18 Defense Points earned

Personal DP left to spend:
Belinda: 9 DP | Mia: 0 DP | Negi: 0 DP | Rolan: 7 DP | Theron: 9 DP

How to use Defense Points:
Each of you has gained a pool of points equal to 1/2 the total Defense Points earned during preparations. At any time, you may choose to spend a number of these points as an immediate action. They can be added to any single attack or damage roll, ability or skill check, saving throw, or can be used to grant you a dodge bonus to your AC. Points used only apply to a single roll, and do not otherwise last until your next action. More than 1 point may be spent on a roll, with a maximum equal to your level. You must decide to use your Defense Points in this way when you announce your action and before you make the roll the bonus will apply to. Once spent, points from this pool cannot be replenished.

"Go on girl, attack this guy."
He points at inured red.

Theron drops his bow and draws....a crowbar??

Rolan provokes an attack from his target, but the bandit misses him. Rolan, in turn, misses the bandit.

Belinda drops herself off the barricade with a 5-foot step and has Bertie attack the nearest bandit, but the small bear misses the tengu.

While Jon tears into the bandit in front of him, Negi drops his bow and draws his sword and shield.

Theron makes a sharp whistle and his roc joins the fight, then drops his bow and draws a crowbar. The roc and Theron both attack, but both miss.

Round 4:

@Theron: You may calculate damage as if the crowbar's a small club.

Belinda calls out a warning to Mia, while also healing her a bit. Meanwhile Bernie thrashes about, without connecting to his target.

Negi, now armed, attacks the bandit in front of him and takes him out. Jon attacks the horse and drags it down.

DC 10 Fly, move less than half speed and remain flying: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27

Theron swings his crowbar and hits the air. His roc has lost his target, but moves above Theron. It attacks the other bandit and hurts the tengu with a bite in his arm.

@Theron: I moved your roc 5 feet, to the nearest threat. Hope you don't mind?
Keep in mind your roc has to make a DC 15 Fly check every round to hover in place if it didn't move, or a DC 10 check if it moves less than half its speed. (See table Flying Maneuver DCs.)
And don't forget it can full attack if it stays in place or only 5-foot "steps" ;)

With the bandit in front of him down, Rolan doesn't provoke another attack when he releases a shot at the other bandit. Sadly, he still misses.

Mia knocks the bandit in front of her out with a single punch, then punches the tengu's horse hard.

The blue horse withdraws from combat, its unconscious rider dropping to the ground. The red horse gets up from its prone position and quickly moves away as well. (Red horse provokes from Jon, Negi, Theron, and the roc.)

You see six more tengu on light combat horses approach the barricade from the north. They're currently at a distance of 400 feet, and one of them appears to be singing a song.

What range would you all like the entangle at? Some are sure to save, but at least it will spread them out a little. Those of us with slings won't be any use at a very long range. Also did we note if any of the bandits had missile weapons?

I posted my poor readied shot before.

Scarab Sages

M Half Elf Investigator(Empiricist)/2 (HP 17/17| AC:15 | T:12 | FF:13 | CMB:3 | CMD:14 | Fort:+1 | Ref:+5 | Will:+3| Init:+4 | Perc:+10 | Speed 30)

Yeah, so I've got 2 minutes for both.
Rolan readies an arrow for when they come within 180 feet, aiming at whoever is leading them,
Attack: 1d20 ⇒ 14
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Liberty's Edge

Male Halfling Cavalier 3 hp 22/22 (16); Init +3; Fort +3(5), Ref +5(6), Will +2(2); AC 20, T 14, FF 17 (16, 14, 14);

Negi retrieves his bow once more and draws for another shot.

Bow: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Without looking to see if the shot hits, he drops the bow again and draws his lance and shield, preparing to charge the first bandit to approach the wall.

Lance: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

All of your readied shots miss, but the villagers you trained have more success. They're able to take out two of the bandits with crossbow bolts. Of the remaining enemies, one rides his horse into one of Theron's pits. The horse breaks a leg and lands on top of its rider, squashing the tengu.

Ref: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Ref: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Both of the remaining bandits get stuck in Belinda's vines. The thorns from the vines hurt their horses.

Round 14:
Belinda (Entangle; far edge at 140ft.)
Mia (Snapping Turtle Style) 17/25HP
Negi
Rolan (+6 AC; +1 attack bonus; -2 Str)
Theron

Tougher looking bandit -6HP (At 140 feet; Horse -1HP)
Other bandit (At 140 feet; Horse -1HP)

@Negi: You sure you want to charge into the area affected by Belinda's entangle spell? Go ahead and change that action, if you want.

Theron narrows his eyes, as the tengu gets flattened underneath his own horse.

"And that's exactly why i enjoy flying with my girl here."

The roc looks at him.
"No, it's true."

IIRC, the Entangle is a fair bit aways from the wall. I'm waiting until they get more like 20ft. At least within the map itself.

Belinda is determined to hit something with the sling. Halfling honor is at stake.

attack with sling: 1d20 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 - 2 = 6

"Yes!" she cries excitedly. But it looks like it was more about managing to get a single skip of her stone on the flooded fields than anything more helpful to the combat.

Rolan fires at the tough-looking bandit,
Attack: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (12) - 1 = 11
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

@Negi: Okaydokay!

I'll move this forward, 'cause I'm pretty sure Mia's going to stay on the barricade.

While Negi stands ready to charge the first bandit to approach the wall and Mia continues her total defense, the others shoot projectiles at the two remaining bandits. Rolan and Belinda miss, but Theron scores a hit on the tough-looking tengu.

Ref: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Ref: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

The bandits' horses both break free of the entanglement and continue toward the barricade. As soon as they're out of the vine-filled area and within Negi's range, Negi and Jon charge forward. Negi's lance pierces the chest of the tough-looking tengu and drops the bandit, whose horse quickly flees the scene.

The other bandit continues toward the barricade and attacks the middle section.

"Bertie, attack him!" encourages Belinda.

Bertie, the rather too cute bear, lurches up on his hind legs and lets fly at the bandit!

attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
claw attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
claw2 attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

"Good bear!" smiles Belinda, looking around to see how the other barricades are holding up.
