Once they enter the frog's den, she makes her way across the damp floor and then pulls out a marble from a pouch at her side. The marble zips through the air towards the oversized frog.

Savaro hustles into the room and lashes out with his spear.

"Be gone!"

Kossar moves around the front of the frog keeping it at bay with a series of quick jabs with his horsechopper. As soon as he sees an opening he goes in for the kill swinging his weapon down using a brutal overhead arc.

Damage: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14

Lesya's rock bounces off the walls of the room and splashes in a puddle.

Savaro connects with the frog but the spear bounces off its rubbery hide.

Kossar wades on in, and with one solid blow finishes the amphibian before it decides to swallow one of you.

Going through the rubble you are able to find a small jade statue of an angelic being lies among the rubbish under a broken table. Although valuable, not the artifact you are looking for.

"Ok,guys let's move on!" Naruhito opens the door to the next room.

Crude bunks line the walls of this room, which is filled with the nauseating stench of troglodytes. Three more of the troglodyte brood are in the room. Somewhat ready for, using some of the bunks as cover.

Kossar can act before the stinky small lizard folk throw their javelins.

Everyone needs to make three Fort Save DC 11 or be sickened by the stench

"Ha! If you think this is bad, you haven't spent as much time at The Soggy Piper as I have!"

"Ah!" Lesya cries out as the stench stings her eyes and nose. "I thought reptiles' sense of smell was hyperacute. Gerk! How do they stand it?"

Savaro loses his breakfast as the reptiles come near.

Naruhito starts to throw up.

Kossar moves up towards the closest lizard and gags at the unexpected smell. While holding his breath he still manages to land a solid blow.

Although a solid hit, not enough to take the one trog down.

Red steps out of the reach of the Half-orc and with green throws their javelins at Kossar.

One hits but just annoys Kossar with 1 non-lethal damage

The remaining one cries out an alarm, then steps up and swings his club

Bit the pain it has makes it miss.

Everyone is up

Naruhito move to the green enemy and hits with katana.

Marcello scampers into the room, flicking his wrist to throw a dagger at the only troglodyte not engaged with one of his allies.

Lesya moves through the doorway despite the retched stench and stares at the blue troglodyte engaged with Kossar. She tries to shut down his brain.

Will save vs. DC 17 for half.

Savaro moves up and attacks the kobold at the back red.

The green skinned Troglodyte falls to Naruhito's swift katana strike.

Marcello wounds the red tinted one, and Savaro finishes it off.

Lesya then makes the mind of the remaining one explode in goo.

As the last one falls, the door to the south opens, a larger Troglodyte appears, but after seeing the bodies of the younger ones, takes cover around the corner from the door.

Everyone is up again

Lesya maneuvers around the bunks in order to keep sight of the troglodyte, but from her perspective it has ducked around a corner.

Naruhito goes after larger Troglodyte and when comes close enough he strikes the big one.

Savaro rolls through the doorway, even though his stomach is rolling the opposite way, to avoid the troglodyte's counterattack from entering the room.

Then he casts a spell on himself, muttering a short prayer from memory to Irori.

Cast divine favor on self.

Waiting for someone to close, the brute swings at Naruhito.

Atk, Troglodyte Club: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Dmg, Troglodyte Club: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

But misses wildly as Naruhito nearly cuts down the troglodyte, but the creature still stands.

Marcello and Kossar can still act.

Marcello slips into the room behind Naruhito, setting himself up for a strategic attack.

The troglodyte swings at the opportunity at Marcello

The stench is stronger with this one and distracts Marcello enough to get hit as he moves though.

Since Marcello is not sickened yet, he needs to make a DC 13 Fort save against the stench of this one. If you are already sickened then it does not matter

The combination of his now open wound and the stench of the room finally gets to Marcello, and he feels nausea bubbling up inside him.

Fort: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

Kossar sees another lizard and steels himself as he moves into position to attack.

The Troglodyte backed in to a corner swings wildly at Naruhito again.

Dmg, Troglodyte Club: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

But the pain of his wounds and the panic of his situation make him flail about uselessly.

Everyone is up again

Savaro lashes out with his spear guided by a mote of Irori's perfection.

Marcello looks for an opening to strike precisely, but doesn't find it. Overwhelmed by the smell, though, he gets impatient and moves forward to attack.

Taking advantage of a surrounded enemy Kossar jabs at the lizard's legs and attempts to trip it.

Lesya moves cautiously over to the doorway. "Is it dead yet?"

With a quick flurry of blows, Kossar, Naruhito and Savaro all cut the the troglodyte down. It is really most sincerely dead.

A brazier of glowing coals sits in the center of this room, its acrid smoke mixing with the ever-present troglodyte stench. A few knives, pokers, and other metal implements lie atop a rusty iron box nearby.

There is a rusty iron chest that holds: a suit of masterwork studded leather armor, a masterwork buckler, a masterwork rapier, a shortbow with 15 arrows, a scroll of cure moderate wounds, a scroll of invisibility, a wayfinder, and a climber’s kit.

The brute Troglodyte also carries some keys. One looks like it would have opened some of the earlier doors, but the rest are unknown.

Opening the remaining door you find a human manacled to the wall. He looks up to you. "Are you from the Society? I am Balenar Forsend, agent of the Pathfinders. Please let me free!"

”Of course!” Lesya gestures at the person holding the keys.

”How’d you end up here?”

Savaro picks up the wayfinder and holds it out to Balenar. "I've known creatures to impersonate Pathfinders for their own gain. Balenar, say aloud the password to activate your wayfinder and then we will trust you are who you are."

"Yes, do as his says!" says Naruhito to Balenar

"What? Really?" Lesya says. "I've never heard that before. I'll make a note of that."

The prisoner stutters, "Fatman Hestrim!" The wayfinder responds. "I hope this satisfies you. And I will do you one better, I will even give my recommendation to the society should you be interested. This place is infested with those foul smelling Trogoldytes. I see you got my jailer, but have you gotten their leader. Some priestess of sorts. I am not much use in a fight but I can offer other support if you would like"

"Help will be great!" says Naruhito to Balenar.

"Guys we should throw all Trogoldytes out through the window to get rid of this smell and wait a bit to recover before we move on!"

Naruhito starts with throwing them out.

"Seems trustworthy enough, I say we let him out. Does someone want to use those keys or do I need to use . . . other means?"

Savaro shrugs. "That's good enough for me."

He takes the keys and unlocks the door.

"Let us end this together."

Are we still sickened after Naruhito throws Trogoldytes out through the window?

"So there's at least one more--and a priestess at that?" Lesya comments, considering.

The sicken last only for 10 rounds, by the time you deal with the wayward pathfinder you are clear of the condition. The pathfinder is wounded to actually fight, but he is a bard and you will be under the effect of inspire courage (+1 Attack, +1 Damage) for the last level

After recovering and preparing yourselves you head up the stairs.

The four wings of the tower are completely open on this level, forming one great, cross-shaped chamber with arched ceilings. The decayed remnants of a carpet run from the doorways at the end of each wing, meeting in the center, where a spiral staircase drops out of sight below. A large, throne-like chair stands in the middle of the eastern wing next to a big chest.

The troglodyte leader is standing at the eastern archway, gazing longingly at the city in the distance and daydreaming about his future surface empire. His animal companion, a stunted albino cave crocodile named Snapjaw, stands nearby. As soon as he notices you, the shaman orders Snapjaw to attack.

Naruhito can act before the leader act.

Naruhito moves forward. double move

As Naruhito moves forward another wave of stench hits him.

Those within 30 feet need to make Fort DC 13 or be sickened, including now Kossar and Savaro

The Troglodyte moves back though not carefully. Naruhito can make an AoO.

When she gets clear a flame appears in her hand and she throws it at Naruhito

The Albino crocidle steps up and snaps at Naruhito

The Croc sinks its teeth in to the Samurai but does not get a full hold on him.

Lesya moves forward and is overcome by the powerful stench of the troglodyte priestess. He grimaces as she tries to focus her attention on the alligator's reptilian brain.

Not affected at all by the stench, Marcello moves toward the alligator, thinking of trying to overwhelm it with Naruhito. On his way by, though, he flicks his wrist to toss a dagger at the troglodyte.
