Lotham, your Attack against the well armored humanoid misses, glancing off its breastplate, and you follow up with a flurry of attacks, many again which bounce harmless from the thick skin and heavy armor of the creature, clearly intended as a heavy shock troop, able to withstand brutal punishment with ease. Your vicious bite however savagely rips flesh along the creatures unprotected neck, towering over it, you are able to take advantage. The bite doesn't take him down however.
Once Eleanor goes, I can finish off the round.

Eleanor assaults the heavily armored foe with all that she has, but the blow of her claw and katana both fail to penetrate the things defenses. Even your spiritual rage fails to breach the heavy armor and thick skin.

Lotham slashes with his claw, and it rakes feebly over the humanoid's breastplate. In his rage he is not thinking strategically, but somehow he manages to power on through and his follow up attacks take advantage of weak points in the creature's defense, and his second claw rakes a savage gash in the thing's thigh. It yowls in pain and Lotham leans in with a vicious bite, tearing flesh from the arm. In tatters, the humanoid's arm hangs with shreds of flesh limply as it staggers in place. Lotham bears down hunching low, and then powers up hard, catching his foe hard in the midsection. Lotham tears into the well armored humanoid again after bolstering his own health. The thing huffs as the wind is knocked from its lungs from the slam and he seems to be slowing now, blood oozing from his nose and mouth.
The hellhound, almost done in by Greebins, withdraws carefully and flees into the brush again similar to before.

Crest, The Wave Terror |

Crest flops down towards the giant, careful that the magical wave he'd pulled from the lake doesn't drown the beast, and wrenches the arrow out from its chest, quickly casting a spell to Stabilize the Giant before it bleeds out.
"Well, I don't think he'll be waking up for a while..." he mutters in Nathan's direction as he watches him search the Giant.
"I doubt we're lucky enough that this is the Fire Giant, but it's still a big loss to their cause. Well fought. And with no losses to our side, thankfully." Crest says after Nathan finishes his search.

Nathan Bonfire |

"I doubt it's THE fire giant, just a fire giant and likely the one in charge of this group. If I can't find any information on him then it's likely back at their camp which is why we need to stop that hellhound." Nathan keeps searching the giant in silence for a few moments and the says, "Though this guys stuff may fit Lotham and I. Be nice to have some properly made gear."

CaveToad |

Lotham and Greebins give chase to the hellhound, unfortunately it has the advantage of speed and distance and stealth, just beyond darkvision range. You may be able to track it, but that will definitely be slower.
The remaining humanoid, Nathan examines and is sure that the creature contains elements of ogre in him. Likely an orc-ogre crossbreed given the brutish features and large size. The humanoid has no weapons, but is wearing its thick breastplate. It scowls and sulks on the ground, but is acquiescent and mindful of its life at this point, as it examines its own wounds.
Nathan and Crest move to the fallen fire giant, who is alive but bleeding. Crest stabilizes it and removes the arrow. He knows that the giant may come around soon enough given that his damage to it was nonlethal and will fade away quicker than deadly wounds.
Nathan pulls away the giant's sword, kicking it to the side. The giant is wearing heavy thick plate armor and has few personal possessions, but it is carrying a long thick heavy oaken box. The box is latched and locked, but a lengthy search of the giant, which required removing all of its armor ( a tedious process give its size and bulk ), enables you to find a key secreted away.
Nathan notes, "I found the key."
Prar reminds the group that there is a baby hidden somewhere in the wilds, and a hellhound running loose. He quickly goes and returns with the ogre baby, huffing and puffing, trying to carry it, nearly half his own size and weight.
As the group calms and rests from the fury of battle, you examine the other bodies.

"So...an ogre baby?" he asks the group. "What exactly have you all been up to?"

Nathan Bonfire |

"Now it looks like we have an ogre baby and prisoners. Can you guys please tie them up and disarm and de-armor them? I'm going to have a look at this box."

"Well, you did light an absolutely massive bonfire, after all." He says with a smile. "Almost like you wanted to be found?"
"Anyway, I couldn't sleep, so I went out for a swim on the lake. Some of us have been scouting around these parts the last week or so. Probably a good thing I came. You might have succeeded all the same without me, but maybe you wouldn't have. This is one of the largest groups I've seen yet."
"But who knows? Maybe your Dawnflower decided you just needed a little help from the shadows?" Crest laughs again, then moves to help Lotham.
Keeping a careful eye on Nathan and the box, even as he moves to help with securing the prisoners, he offers his assistance,
"Think it might be trapped, Nathan? I might be able to help you with that too. It's a specialty of mine, if you recall."

Nathan casts detect magic, and the box glows, or rather whatever is in the box glows. He examines it for traps and finds nothing obvious, although he knows that clever traps, the most ingenious and difficult ones and the magical ones can only be found by those trained in such things.
Lotham ties up the unarmored the prisoners. The giant wears plate armor, and the three humanoids, we'll call them ogrillons, each wears a breastplate. The giant also has a greatsword.
They appear to have no other gear, which makes sense given that it is probably back at their camp. Whatever is in the box was important enough to bring along.

Nathan Bonfire |

"I've found no traps Crest, but if you want to take a look you are welcome to. There is something magical in it, it appears. We should head to their camp and see what we can find there after we open this box. Lotham if you can use any of their gear, feel free to. I have no use for their armor. Though I could use a backup weapon if any have a dagger or sword my size."

Crest, The Wave Terror |

After leaving the box with Nathan, Crest his way over to Eleanor.
"Eleanor, I couldn't help but notice you during the battle. The way you moved, and that thing you were doing with your ki...it was very impressive. Do you think you could show me some of what you've learned?"
Taking my dip in Stalker (Soul Hunter), might as well learn from a real one...

Nathan Bonfire |

Nathan lets out a long whistle. "Whoa! I'm gonna take a bit to study this and then we can find their camp and look for any information they may have. After that it may be time to head back to the fort. Any of you care to help me with this."
He holds aloft the glittering object.

Crest, The Wave Terror |

"Fair enough. Maybe just some sparring then, and I'll watch carefully. I suppose it is quite late after all. I'll probably stay the night, if it's not a burden." Crest replies.

Nathan Bonfire |

"I can't figure this out. It has Evocation, Divination, Conjuration and Necromantic energies on it. We'll need to continue to study this as we proceed. Let's get to their camp and search it. Are the prisoners ready to move or do we need to bring them around."
