Re: Mentys' action....Lasaraleen will just be double moving forward on her turn (in addition to the spiritual scimitar attack...which has been mostly ineffective

![]() |

Mentys waits for Lasaraleen, while Iaso fires at the hand with his bow.
Not sure what happened to the undead's positions... looks like they were all moved back at one point). Also looks like the Hand did not go...
"Now, my minions... defend the rift against these incompetent fooooooooollsss!"
The giant hand moves forward, not hampered by the tentacles, moves forward to attack Iago. The thing slashes at Iago, connecting, and wrapping him up. It alwo appears to be healed by the shadowy essence in the circle!
Hand's claw vs AC20: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23 claw!: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 grab! vs CMD19: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (7) + 14 = 21

Then the skeletons move forward! Bravo's skill and luck fail him as the two move, as he misses both with this opportunistic attacks. The skeletons are no better, all missing Bravo and Iago!

About the movement. Google docs/slides has an annoying tendency to move the background if you are not careful. I've had that happen and find the crtl-z operation a life saver. If that happened, then that would explain why everything shifted. I'm pretty sure it wasn't me, but its easy enough to do by accident if you are not being careful.
Silgil drags himself a measly 10' through the woods (difficult terrain), and targets the red, yellow and the hand with a DC 17 glitterdust spell.

★★★OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT★★★
As Medda and Anok join your group of Pathfinders around the stone circle, she assists you with the binding ritual. Medda thrusts Ivvora’s hilt into the portal, calling on Vildeis for aid. The shadow rift shrinks and closes, releasing a massive shock wave that knocks the Pathfinders, the Twinhorn warriors, and Medda to the ground. A field of dark, rippling energy remains, suspended above the stone altar. As Medda reaches out to pick up Ivvora’s hilt—the already broken blade now spider-webbed with new cracks—a supernatural silence descends. Only the telepathic rage of some unseen menace cuts through the quiet. “You dare to shut me out?” it rages. “I see you, but I do not see her. Where is the dwarf woman, Ivvora, who fought me so long ago? Has her mortal body failed at last? Has the realm of the living at last lost its protector? Know this: when the long shadows reach out again, I will grasp them and claw my way back into your world to see your flesh devoured by my children.”
Sound returns to the Realm of the Mammoth Lords, and Medda cautiously stands. “It seems that Eshimka still lives and has even left this foul scar on our world,” she declares. “If we are to believe its promises, the fiend will attack on the next winter solstice. If we are to survive, we must be ready. Nearly a millennium ago, Ivvora held the key to defeating Eshimka. By following her legends and discovering her fate, we may harness the same holy power that banished this fiend—and together end the beast entirely.
“When we set out, it would be the privilege of this following to have the Pathfinders at our side. But that is a trial for another day. Tonight, at last, we rest.”
@Table GMs: If you haven't already, please report your games and boons here. A roll of 19 or 20 wins a boon, and a d4 should then be rolled to determine which one.

Wow! What was that?
Lasaraleen staggers to regain her feet.
She turns to Medda.
If Eshimka still lives, we will be better prepared next time. By the Dawnflower, we will end this foul legend.

Silgil finally makes it to the fight just to see it end suddenly.
"Well then. Can't say I'm surprised. Well done compatriots. The thing with no mouth was all talk."
At least I don't think it had a mouth. You can never tell.

"A bit sad I wasn't able to give that creature at least one good whack with an axe," Mentys mutters as he regains his feet and bearings. "I'm content with having helped keep such an evil at bay, though."
