Alright, folks - you know the deal.

Since we are in a bit of a hurry (5 weeks-ish), I'll try to get through this one at a quicker pace. I'd like you to post at least once per day if possible. I'll work in a similar manner, but I anticipate weekends being problematic, with me usually being unavailable and all that. I'll try to sneak a post in even when I'm out, but it might not be as flashy or colourful as usual. If you can call the usual stuff flashy or colourful, that is.

Cypher Starchild |
Just letting you guys know, my posting will be erratic over the next few days. My grandmother passed away, and so while I have the ability to post I'll be frank that I may not be up to it. bot me if need be, my combat codes are in my profile.
Eadric Brightcoat |
I'm so sorry to hear that, Cypher. My condolences to you and your family.
Helme |
My condolences as well Cypher. Take care of yourself.
Tenibri |
Sorry for my disappearance this weekend. The unfortunate confluence of a busy schedule and getting hit with a cold and cough took me out.
I'm posting this in my games first thing today, then I'll be catching up in gameplay; I should be caught up by the end of the day.
Tenibri |
[dice=diplomancy]1d20+26
Oh, the comfort of knowing that there's really no way that I can screw up a Diplomacy that Cypher can't fix. :) Hope you don't mind, dear!
Cypher Starchild |
None whatsoever. That's half the fun of Cypher.
The other half being an instigator of all sorts of fun nonsense. In a previous game I skipped a entire encounter in a manner that caused our poor GM to scream "KEEP IT PG-13! PG - THIRTEEN!".
And I've made them grumble something similar about having to have people react in pg-13 manner to my shenanigans several times now.
Tenibri |
I may change up spells before the tower, then. Does anyone in this crew like a good old-fashioned enlarge person for combat, or should I swap that one out?
Eadric Brightcoat |
Sounds good to me, GM!
I wouldn't say no to being enlarged, Tenibri, but if you have another spell in mind, don't let me stop you. ;)
Helme |
I'm happy to be fast forwarded.
GM NotEspi |
if you don't need new spells readied up, you may go today. It is early afternoon anyway. Traveling to each location through the Guts supposedly takes an hour and, assuming you spend at least an hour on each location, you did spend some 5-6 hours today.
So as I said, if you need spells, that's fine. You still have 40 or so hours until the performance in the warehouse, so it's up to you.
Eadric Brightcoat |
The way I see it, it'll make no difference if we go straight away or wait till the morning, except that if we do the latter, Tenibri can swap out his spells if he wants. So that's where my vote goes. :)
Tenibri |
Tenibri is interested to make contact with the Galtan faction as well, and see if there's a way for the Pathfinders to assist them as well.
But, Outpost looms, and I don't know how we're doing on real-time for completing the scenario in time for that.
Eadric Brightcoat |
Sounds good to me, I'm always willing to help out the rebellious sorts. Other than that, Eadric is mostly along for the ride, just making sure his friends don't get beat up in the rare occasions that Cypher's charm doesn't work. He has no plans of his own. :)
Helme |
I will be away from good computer access this weekend starting tomorrow. Feel free to bot me as needed. I may be able to post, but can't guarantee it.
GM NotEspi |
The next few days might feel a bit rushed. While I would hate to take agency from you, if we want to make it within the next 7 days, we will have to hurry the entire thing a bit. There are still 2 encounters ahead of us, but it is doable.
With that said, I would like to have your permission to move things along at a bit faster pace, which means skipping on some of the dialogue (such as my recent post with the Galtan representative). We can always add dialogue later, if you wish. Or just add it as it goes.
The encounters themselves are not too long, unless you have a stupidly unlucky streak.
In the event that we would not make it, I'll just report the scenario on Sunday, since the outcome of the encounters doesn't really affect the scenario goals. In addition, it never even crossed my mind that one of you would die in either of them. The strix fight is probably the most dangerous one in the scenario, since they can fly and all that.
Eadric Brightcoat |
Sounds good to me! You officially have my permission to do as you feel best, I trust you. :)
Helme |
I'm good with moving us along. I'm back from vacation and catching up.
Helme |
I'm going to be super busy on Saturday. I'm attending a con. Feel free to bot Helme to move stuff along.
Bless first and then jab them with my longspear.
Cypher Starchild |
Awwww yeah, Cypher does it again, though that shot from Oma was spectacular!
So.... GM Espi and the rest of the crew... everybody interested in continuing with this crew? I'm still enjoying the hell outa our teamwork, but I understand if not.
Eadric Brightcoat |
I'm certainly up for staying on if others are willing! I mean, Eadric just wouldn't know what to do with himself if he wasn't always hanging around you guys. :)
However, my dance card is pretty full at the moment, and things have got even busier in real life. So if we could wait until after Outpost I, and GM Espi and everyone else still wants to play, that would be perfect.
Helme |
I'd love to continue with the gang. I third the vote for after outpost. Life is getting busier.
Oma "Deadeye" Jorrer |
Totally forgot to fill this out for you....
Character Name: Oma "Deadeye" Jorrer
Player Name (one that should appear on the sheet): Emmjay
PFS-ID:224344-1
Faction: Scarab Sages
Day Job Roll (if any):Craft(Calligraphy): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24
GM NotEspi |
Alright. Game is reported. I'll try to have the sheets done by tomorrow night. For those, who might need this information sooner than that, here are the rewards for the scenario:
oil of daylight (750 gp)
pearl of power (1st level spell; 1,000 gp)
scroll of remove fear (CL 4th; 100 gp)
snag net (30 gp; Pathfinder RPG Advanced Race Guide 201)
wand of investigative mind (6 charges; 540 gp, limit 1; Pathfinder RPG Advanced Class Guide 165)
wand of mage armor (10 charges; 150 gp, limit 1)
cloak of resistance +1 (1,000 gp)
wand of investigative mind (16 charges; 1,440 gp,
limit 1; Pathfinder RPG Advanced Class Guide 165)
Pezzacki Thistle (Liberty’s Edge only): Your actions in Pezzack shifted the balance of power in favor of the White Thistles. As promised, the Liberty’s Edge faction provides you with training in the White Thistle’s methods. You may use this boon to reroll a Craft, Diplomacy, or Perform check, but you must make the choice to reroll before the GM reveals whether or not the check succeeds. Once you use this boon, cross if off your Chronicle sheet.
Skillful Barterer: Your experience bartering in Pezzack prepares you to negotiate without coin. Once during a scenario, while in a settlement of at least 100 people, you may trade up to 300 gp worth of non-magical equipment for non-magical equipment of equivalent value. You may not receive coins, gems, or other money as a part of this trade. After you use this boon, cross if off your Chronicle sheet.
Tenibri |
It looks like I never rolled my day job; can you please add this? Thanks!
Craft (alchemy), crafter's fortune: 1d20 + 8 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 8 + 5 = 22
Tenibri |
One more Chronicle sheet request: Tenibri has a scroll of endure elements; he'd like to add that to his spellbook. Can you please note this?
Spellcraft DC 16: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26
10 gp
GM NotEspi |
Whew! What a wild ride there at the end. Deadlines, amirite?
Alright, people - before I close this one, I'll ready up the next thread and scenario. We're not in a rush, so we'll start a thread, make the introductory post, gather up some players who wish to join after Outpost (we do have at least one slot left - I'm not sure whether Oma and Tenibri wish to carry on with this pack of rabid dogs), and continue after that is done. I'll get in touch with Blake's Tiger to see if they wish to join on the next one.
With that said - any requests?
Sheets later today, as promised.
Tenibri |
I'd very much like to continue with you guys; I like this group a lot already. Are you planning to delay the start of the next chapter until after Outpost? (If not, I can easily find another PC to bring, too.)
GM NotEspi |
Alright, folks! HERE you have 'em!
Please check your sheets and let me know if everything is in order. I'll make adjustments if this is not the case. It was a pleasure as usual.
As for the next game, we can discuss this here for now, unless you have an issue with keeping the campaign active until we make a decision.
Tenibri, we'll probably wait until Outpost ends. I don't think other characters in this game are playing in outpost - besides yourself, that is - but we did sort of agree above that we would let it simmer for a while.
Eadric Brightcoat |
Thanks, my sheet looks great! As for requests, what about something like #4–07: Severing Ties? It would continue the espionage theme that we seem to have found ourselves in, plus from what I can tell season scenarios are generally quite fun.
