The delgeth is a unique breed of ungulate native to magical forests and places where the line between the natural and the supernatural is blurred. Delgeths' soaring core body temperature manifests in the elklike creatures' flaming hooves and smoldering extremities, both of which the beasts use to defend themselves and mark their territory during mating season.

They are immune to fire and can ignore the ground and brush when it runs. This could be hazardous and cause a major forest fire if the beast is not restrained....

This is true. However, if this creature is not natural to this place I'm not sure we can let it roam free and destroy everything. Tobian will hold his action, waiting to see if one of the others might have a better way of dealing with the creature.

Galtar raises his sword and Ruckus takes the initiative of catching the thing's attention by pelting it with missiles. The delgeth turns its fiery head to the party and digs its hooves into the ground! Thomson speeds up the party!

The delgeth rears up in the air and then runs through the party, leaving behind a trail of fire. Galtar swings as it runs by misses!

Tobian hits it with a blast of cold and Ruckus puts more missiles flying after the delgeth! Zeldones, Galtar, and Thomson prepare for the battle and Temujin injures the beast, leaving it sorely wounded!

The delgeth moves up to the halfling terrakineticist and throws its antlers about!

Temujin sighs at the beast's insistence to cause harm. "I wanted what was best for you and now you attack me. You know not what you do, Blaze. I shall set you free."

Temujin steps back and draws on the earth to halt the beast's movement and to bring this fiery show to an end. Slowly as the stone and scorched earth wrap around its hooves and hindquarters, Temujin focuses on bringing the beast down gently, much as he has done for ornery yaks in his herd.

Temujin checks for signs of life. If the creature is still alive, but unconscious, then Temujin will create a pallet for the delgeth that he has named Blaze. With a few ropes, he will let Snack Pack drag the unconscious beast behind him.

Once he is finished, he turns to the group. "Shall we press on? The elders must be warned."
