As a player I have a lot more information on the situation than my character. While I'm not going to hide Watt's opinions, I would rather look to others for what we should do. I do feel your opinions on how to deal with this are more important than mine and whatever happens I'll be fine with the decision.

Sorry if I didn't make it clear, but the Sceaduinar is taking a hostile position and Ramesses has noticed a haunt manifesting in the room, related in some way to Badru. At that point I went ahead and put you into initiative.
I'm on business travel this week, but will be able to continue posting normally for the next few days. Thursday and Friday will be a little more tentative.

*looks closely at the picture of Badru*
Why does Badru's scroll begin with an interior diagram of the female genital system?

I can understand issues Ramesses. I don't know what I could do to help, but if there is anything I can do on my end let me know.
Hopefully the issues on the system go away sooner than later.

I never paid attention to Badru's scroll but I got a good chuckle over the PG-13 edit of his scroll.

What happened to the Sceaduinar? Did we dispatch it when I wasn't looking, or...?

He was APL'ed away.

APLs away, my friends, APLs awaaayyy!
And another wand turns to dust.
And another wand gone, and another wand gone, another wand turns to dust!

Guys I'm sorry for my posting rate, I am a dispatcher for Police, Fire, and EMS for my local sheriff's dept. and have been getting slammed the last couple weeks because we are short staffed. I should've posted this sooner, but lately I've pretty much just been working a sleeping. Again I'm sorry for lack of posts and have made efforts to post as to not slow progress. If I need to be botted, feel free to bot me, Ramesses generally tries to use knowledge to id creatures and use judgement on round 1, then move in to flanking and bane during rd 2. Always power attack, vital strike as well.

Good luck out there, Ramesses. Don't worry about us, you're doing a lot of important work out there!

I'm a very biased participant in the combat, so my first reaction would be to cast magic missile at the blue hound and start moving to an statue in the South-West corner. There are probably better options, but nothing I feel I have a strong grasp of in the moment.

Hi folks! I won't be able to post until Thursday due to work stuff... I'd say feel free to bot me, but the hounds are immune to my bot-move, so... hopefully I'm able to check in tomorrow night! :)

Main goal was to convince Marut to be on our side, but my diplo is non-existent. All I can do is boost others' diplo by 5, with another +2 on a successful assist for total of +7.
Other than that, if Yanndu is allowed near the purple beacon he will try to study and comprehend how it works or what it does. He is proficient in all knowledge skills (bonuses under alias), and may throw an Ancestral Memory spell in there to grab an ancient memory related to this type of beacon...

Hopefully you won't need to puppeteer me again (then again, I am a Wayang, so can I really complain?), but if you do...
Don't overuse limited-use items.
Use my Invisibility Field if something comes after me.
As far as risking my own skin goes, be neither Leeroy Jenkins nor Sir Robin.
Be creative, particularly with my illusions.
I have a couple of Tenebrous spells prepared - don't cast them unless the light is dim enough for it to be worthwhile, and if it would be worthwhile, cast motes of dusk and dawn to make it sufficiently dark.
Speaking of which, what IS the ambient light level presently at?

Let it be known that the following Pathfinders have shown exemplery service in the recovery of the Beacon Below:
Yanndu
Sihir Aneh
Watts Helm
Cirri and Riddlywhipple
Ramesses
Deyno
Let it be recorded in the Pathfinder Chronicles
Missing a day job roll from Cirri, but I think everything else should be clear.

Thank you GM TMBtC!
Great scenario and lots of fun!

![]() |

Awesome thanks DM! You ran a great game, good balance of narrative, roleplay and combat. I really enjoyed the game and the party was awesome as well! Great job guys!

![]() |

Woohoo! That was fun. I gotta boost Cirri's defenses.
Perform(Dance): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
GM Reroll: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 2 + 1 = 15
Much better. Thanks for the game, GM!

Thank you all. It was an enjoyable run. It was a great party to be able to play with.
I do have a few last questions for the adventure.
Was the haunt permanently destroyed?
Was the ruin an ancient site (original occupants abandoned it at least 1000 years ago and must cover a 2500 sq. ft (50 ft. by 50 ft. area))?
With this Watts has hit a big milestone. A number of things have lined up for Watts to meet all the qualifications to become a jeweled sage himself. Hopefully he will not be removing hearts from anyone nor have murderous minions.

Oh, I should ask about my faction goals! Can you tell me if I completed any of these goals?
Adventure in a nation other than Absalom. You can receive credit for visiting a particular nation only once. Checking one of this goal’s boxes does not prevent you from checking one box for a different goal.
Did we complete both the primary and secondary success conditions?
Participate in an adventure that directly assists an NPC Pathfinder agent or agent of an allied organization, such as by mounting a rescue, recovering an important object, or defending that group’s resources and reputation.

Re: Faction goals for Watts and Cirri - Yes to all.
Haunt was permanently destroyed once the soul gem was cleansed.
Per the adventure intro, the site was abandoned by the original scholars millennia ago. It is also clearly very big.
You adventured in Osirion for this adventure.
Primary success: Recovery the Beacon
Secondary success: Be good smart pathfinders and discover lots of points worth of things (which you totally did)
You certainly directly assisted Tahonikepsu Scarab Sages in recovering an incredibly important object/resource.
As for the newest addition to the Jeweled Sages... Congratulations! My Scarab Sage (Sarsczek) is almost there...

Deyno is three goals away from his milestone. And, thanks for running this scenario.

And of course, I forget to actually look at the chronicle sheet. It looks great to me. I'll transcribe the chronicle boon I got here.
Relic Guardian: Your stewardship of historical treasures inspires you to act quickly to save such relics from destruction. Once per scenario, when an unattended object within your reach is targeted by an offensive spell, attack, or effect, you can treat that object as though it were in your possession for the purpose of attempting saving throws and resisting sunder attempts. If an opponent succeeds at a combat manuever check to sunder an object in your possession, you can cross this boon off your Chronicle sheet to force the creature to reroll the attack with a -5 penalty.
