Oh man, I was kinda hoping to start this earlier than this, but I think we can chug through this before the 14th. I think we've got 4 with Tektite if he's not played this yet. If you want more, get 'em in here whenever, but note I'm not Red-speed DMing though I'm getting all my maps made up now for my two games I'm running right now.

EDIT: No Tektite, he's already played it, so that mildly alters potential plans.

I have these 4 available for this scenario. No idea who is in it, so I can fill what we need.

Probably either the level 5 cleric or paladin. Well we have a 4 person table then. Feral's in and he's inviting someone.

Yo. *waves* I'm Dien, just GMed a game for Feral and he twisted my arm into comin' along for this one. I have two level 6s. I could swear Feral said you were running the 6-7 tier-- is that correct? *squints at the other sign-ups*

The 6s are a witch who can heal in a pinch, and is probably somewhat more solid a character in terms of mechanics, and a bard-barian/DDI who is not at all optimized but is a hell of a lot of fun to play.

Well in the interest of getting things started I'd say the paladin and the witch. Yeah Dien, we're going to be a weak 6-7.

Has anyone (read: Sharna) here not played 4-16: The Fabric of Reality? I don't want to spoil things from it, but there's a thing from it that makes the pre-scenario timeline makes a lot more sense, seeing as everyone's coming from really, really far away. (Read: The Shackles)

Okay, paladin it is. Mind you, this is the first character I built for Society so he isn't exactly optimal, haha. I should have everything updated now and ready to go though. Do you want tank mode or damage mode?

I'm inclined to say tank mode.

My default answer is: whatever you prefer. But that said, AC sounds like it'll be low-ish on our front liners, so if you can provide the clangy wall of steel between the monsters and Sharna, she'd be happy. :P

Just as a heads-up, I'll be mostly AFK for the next 24 hours. I don't think there's anything waiting on Sharna to act, but GM has NPC rights if anything is needed from her.

Noting that Sebastian isn't going to have not-work internet until (I think) Wednesday, so anyone can feel free to respond to his questions (especailly after 3PM EST.) Sebastian was the only one who actually has a holy symbol, so that's why he got inquired.

No major faux paus that I can imagine for anwering his questions, as long as it doesn't involve the phrase "Shove it, old timer."

Not quite a suggestion, but if you feel your character would have input, don't hold back. I just wanted to make sure I stated directly that this isn't like a "DON'T POST, THIS IS IMPORTANT FOR SEBASTIAN TO DO BY HIMSELF" faction-mission-y thing.

Krunch doesn't know much about faith related stuff. =(

Ah, but Krunch is living proof that even hellish heritage doesn't mean one is sworn over to evil! He may not know much about theology, but that doesn't mean he knows nothing about faith. :)

As an Oracle, a Sanctified Rogue, AND an individual with +2 on attack and damage rolls vs individuals with Lamashu symbols, I'd kinda hope you have some kind of belief system (or specific lack thereof.)

He certainly has a belief system, it just happens to include the tooth fairy and easter bunny. =P

Apologies for the delays; Hit my ankle pulling a pushcart with 3 network printers on it on Friday. It's really only sore and non-serious, but I spent my lunch break at the hospital ('cause it got all puffy and my temp shot up), then waddled my way back to work to finish the last two hours.

Should be back on track soon-ish, easily be done before Gencon/faction RL cutoff date (barring further incident, though like I posted before, pbp has a later deadline.)

Feh, it didn't even really hurt even when it first happened; it just looked/still looks more awful than it really is. It's also slightly dissuasive to the idea of walking the 4 steps from my bed to my computer when I'm home, since I already love sleeping so much. I'll be sure to get some pieces on the map, though, after I take the "I'm no on drugs, mandatory by workman's comp" test this afternoon.

Je suis amusé; I first read it while checking my phone for pbp updates in rush-hour traffic (LIKE A REAL, AMERICAN DRIVER.) The only reason it's hilarious, though, is that I'm notorious for forgetting buffs (to the point of house-rules regarding updating damage for things.)
