Rowena takes 10 for her Stealth check of 48.

After appearing in the stairwell behind the secret door leading down, you wait until Rowena appears and you let her in. Quintus is closest to the door so he is about to approach it to let her in, when Kelkzar quickly grabs his arm before he steps onto the platform. There is a very faint symbol here. Kelkzar is unable to know what it is, but points it out to Rauno. Studying it, he identifies it as a greater glyph of warding spell, though he does not know what it will do without having read magic available. It will prevent Rowena from joining you unless it is either dispelled or set off.

Quintus casts dispel magic to rid the glyph. He feels the spell resist his magics, but his force of will and faith bolster and the glyph soon fades from view.

Rowena comes soon after and you let her in. Descending the stairs to you come to another wall. Kelkzar out front soon finds the means to open that secret door, leading out into a small room.

This square room contains three plain wooden coffins. Two coffins lie along the south wall, while a third has been placed in the north part of the room. Several empty sacks are piled near the third coffin. Before Kelkzar can move any closer into the room, the three coffins open to reveal a nearly skeletal zombie, save that it is infested with writhing green worms that bulge and drip from its eyes and mouth. These three creatures are the same as you fought in the basement of Blackwall Keep.

Each of these creatures has an aura of fear that you need to make a DC 14 Will save or be panicked (3 will saves for everyone except Trevor and everyone except Rowena gets a +4 from Trevor's aura

Quintus easily resists the creatures' aura, then raises his well-worn wooden ankh high and calls on Sarenrae's power to strike down the undead.

DC 14 Will save, incl. aura bonus: 1d20 + 11 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 11 + 4 = 24

Yeah, for Quintus in the aura it's "Don't roll a 1." He also adds his birthmark bonus, since it's a charm or compulsion, but that's just overkill.

Channel energy to damage undead, DC 16 Will save for half damage: 5d6 + 9 ⇒ (3, 6, 2, 6, 4) + 9 = 30

NB: Channel resistance doesn't apply because of Quintus' Sun domain ability. Also, I don't know if these things cause disease; if they do, see the feat description below.

Cleansing Burst feat:
Your channeled energy wards off disease. When you channel positive energy to harm or turn undead creatures, any undead creatures in the area lose the ability to cause disease with their melee and ranged attacks for 1d4+1 rounds. If an undead creature successfully saves against your channeled energy, this duration is reduced to 1 round for that creature. Immunity to positive energy negates this ability.

I think when you fought one of these in Blackwall Keep, we established that the Cleansing Burst feat would neutralize the worms. While not a disease per se, a remove disease will affect these undead and the worms, while not undead, cause disease

Rowena slams her Bardiche into the undead creature crawling with worms as it stands, but it withstands the blow, steps towards her and tries to bite her, but is infective.

The passageway leads to the east and branches to the north. Both lead to a door.

Yes, Rauno has an iron vial that he'll fill with worm remains. He'll use presdigitation to move them in so nothing else has to touch them.

As Rauno crouches and magics worms into a container, he says "I was untouched. I didn't even get a chance to cast a spell against them before the lot of you finished them. Well done."

Trevor clasps Rowena on the shoulder and says with a smile: "Well, your fighting skills have improved tenfold; this whole series of events has offered great lessons and forced us to step up and be counted..."

His thoughts immediately turn to his great lost love Rafan, and he blushes slightly as mixed emotions collide within him.

He blurts: "Ok, let's move on then?"

Kelkzar sees that most of the foot traffic is between the previous room and the one to the east. He sees nothing to the north.

Kelkzar opens the door. The air in this large hall is particularly noisome. The northern wall is almost completely covered by the remains of a wooden bookshelf, whose contents have long ago crumbled to dust. The southern part of the aisle is occupied by dusty pieces of ancient, ruined machinery that may have once comprised sets of semi-automated combat dummies.

Inside the room are six more spawn and another creature that has a thick tangle of discolored entrails that clings to this lurching skeleton’s torso and winds upward to loll from its jaw like a clawed tongue.

Rowena, when using improved Ki throw, you will only make the one you throw prone and the other prone in the square behind it. Otherwise it doesn't keep bowling over the others in the line. So the one you threw is to your right prone, the one that was there is in the square prone with the one that tried to move through the doors north.

Also, if you have 5' of web between you and another target they will not provoke as they have cover from it.So only the one that fell prone would provoke standing up or moving to you. (As the square it moved through to get to you through the web would not grant an AoO

Easily dodges the Spawn and throws it into the web into another one knocking them both down. Travor moves in behind her and kills the other spawn that Kelkzar hit before.

AC 26/T 26/FF 20; F/R/W +14/+15/+14; Max HP 111; Current HP 110 Effects:

Ah. I just figured it worked like a normal Bullrush, except that you start with a throw: throw A into B, bull rush B into C if the Bullrush check was high enough. Normal Bullrush would be push A into B then B into C, but all three would have to be in a line; improved Ki throw gives a bit of flexibility with the alignment, at the cost of many more feats. The B into C part of the routine was part of bullrushing, not the Ki throw.

Thanks Quintus! I forgot about that!

From where he is, Rauno surveys as much of the battle as he can. Waiting until he catches a glimpse of the mohrg through the webbing, he utters a quick spell. Arcane darts of force race from his outstretched palm, arcing toward the undead monstrosity. In a mere moment, the missiles reach their target and disappear into it.
