A shadowy man steps out from the darkness behind you all and says in a quiet voice "You are all very loud"

"GAH!" Throws rock at surprise

As she composes her self, Xane actually looks at the thing/person who's just suddenly popped up.

"Oh...um...sorry 'bout that..." She absently scratches her head and looks apologetic and such...

For spooky coolness factor only

The rock, which you are sure should hit the young man, actually misses likely due to the darkness surrounding him.

"It's ok. You're not the first to be startled by my appearance, sudden or otherwise. You probably won't be the last"

"What bung hole did you crawl out of?"

As the great (Well..it's only the size of a horse...sheesh!) critter leaps out of the water and attacks, Xane grins and even laughs as its jaws clamp down on her.

And she...pretty much does nothing with such an opportunity.... (-_-)

Grumbles about the dice roller...(¬_¬)

As the beast leaps out of the water and attacks Gurukk says, "See? If Gurukk was quiet this thing would still be in the water!"

He grabs his great axe and charges.

Charge with great axe 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 6 + 2 = 21
Damage 1d12 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

"Yah big ass scaly water horse!"

Xane does nothing, Gurukk and Erky put some hurt on the beast!

Respen and Kheldor are up!

Slightly startled by the emergence of the beast, the cloaked man fires a pair of shadowy bolts of force at the thing 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (3, 3) + 2 = 8 Magic Missile

Respen draws his rapier while inciting the scabbard of vigor making his rapier a +3 and with a prayer to Imoedae, his goddess blesses his blade. And strikes at the creature flanking with Gurukk if able.

Scabbard of vigor makes my rapier +3 for 3 rounds and smite evil on the dragon.

The dragon is quickly wounded fairly seriously.

It attempts to go back under the water....

Drawing an AoO from anyone in melee range......

Xane simply balls a fist and tries to slam the critter in the snout.

Seeing the opening Respen quickly stabs the creature,

Gurukk whiffs harmlessly

The dragon sinks from view beneath the water, the ripples soon pass and the waters are still once more.

Xane grins and bounces on her toes..

"Come back and have a proper go! Ya big Skink!" She calls.

"Lets lure it out again. We need to find its treasure horde so it will come and defend it!"

"I believe it's hoard is out on the lake. Also there is supposedly an underwater tunnel that leads out. Though I am unsure as to where"

"How err we gonna do that?"

Erky channels positive energy on the group

Xane yawns...staggers...and falls over...

Bluff:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22

And...would appear to be out like a light....

"Me girl! I'm gonna kill me a dragon!

Seeing that the danger has past, Respen puts away his rapier and draws his cure light wound and heals himself. "So were you a offering to the dragon as well Mr.?"

After he heals himself he gives a up a few charges to Xane as well.

Cure light to Respen: 3 charges 3d8 + 3 ⇒ (5, 6, 5) + 3 = 19
Cure light to Xane: 2 charges 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (7, 8) + 2 = 17

Perception DC 20

Gurukk looks at the others, "So ready to head out there to get that dragon to attack again?"

Gurukk also suggests spreading out so everyone doesn't get hit by its breath weapon at the same time.

"Xane err yah alright?......Where's tha dragon?"

The gnome continues to strip down.....

"We got to wait for Xane to wake, and if we could find a boat that would help us."

A warm blob floats in the dark water far from shore....

Xane cracks open one eye and tries to squint at what ever is floating in the waters.

Perception:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

Xane has spotted the floating blob of whatever.....would be nice to have some light out there...

Why? Doesn't every one have Dark-Vision? (>_>)

It is hard to determine the fine details of what it is via darkvision.

Grumbling, the cloaked and cowled newcomer says "As much as I hate to do this, I will provide us some light. Somebody pass me a torch or something" He then speaks in a language that seems wispy and hollow. He hands back whatever it is he was given.

Assuming I am handed something, cast Light

The dragon is floating in the dark water it could be dead, unconscious or playing possum !

Respen lets loose a sling bullet at the creature, "Let's see."

Sling shot:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Damage:1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Xane continues to try and play 'Possum' while trying to work out if teh Dragon is also playing 'Possum'...

Bluff:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Sense Motive:1d20 - 1 ⇒ (6) - 1 = 5

Her attempts at both failing miserably.

"Aaaa-CHO!" *sniffle*

"Damn dust..."

Erky happily plops down on Xane......

'Hehehe..' *Catches rambunctious Gnome and snuggles..*

"Im still aimed tah get tha dragon."

The naked gnome grabs a rope and throws a knife in his mouth.

He ties the rope around the dragon and tells everyone to pull.

The dragon is hauled next to the shore, and determined to be unconscious, not dead.

While helping haul on the rope with Erky, Gurukk (And any one else) Xane makes sure no one kills/off/coup-ed-grase the unconscious critter.

"Killing things that can't fight back is wrong...." She states in no uncertain terms. She then looks about for enough rope (Anything really) to bind the Dragons jaws and at least wings shut.

"Hobbling the legs, like what you do to keep horseys from running away, is something else to do as well...." She adds thoughtfully.

Kheldor shakes his head at gnome, the 'napping' young lady and her comments "Yea, I don't feel any such moral restraints"

Xane looks at the new 'shady' charioteer and smiles,

"Well, at least you're honest." (^_^)

She moves to get into a better position...though is unsure as to quite what Kheldor meant with his words.

"So...are we going to stay friends? Or are we going to continue to be honest with each other and start swinging?" (^_^)

"It's a beast and dangerous. Gurukk thinks it should be killed while it can't fight back and kill someone. It wouldn't hesitate in the reverse."

Gurukk gets his great axe ready to coup de grace while looking at everyone

Erky gets dressed again...
"What ever me girl wants."
