Hi everyone.
This is not a recruitment thread. Instead, I want to see if people are interested in a more free-form PF2 game that is not an AP or a published adventure. The basic idea, and this is going to be rough, is that the group's goals would determine the types of adventures that they would have.
Players would help drive the story and world-building, and I would throw challenges and adversaries at them.
I would like to try a game where the players have a larger element of narrative control; however, this would also require players who were willing to communicate and engage both ICly and OOCly.
If this is something that would potentially interest you, reply here, and if there is interest, then I'll pop open a recruitment thread and we'll go from there. If you have questions, please ask.
In any case, thanks for reading.

I'd be QUITE interested, especially if it's set in a location the APs and modules aren't covering!
While the game would start in Absalom (as it is a very convenient location to use to have characters from anywhere having a narrative reason to be there), adventures could be anywhere in Golarion that the players wanted to go.
That's part of the reason for wanting to try something like this, to give the players more narrative say in the location and feel of the adventures that they go on.

Sounds good.
I am thinking of creating one of the following:
A 'were-dragon'. A dragon eidolon summoner with the Meld into Eidolon feat that always 'turns into' the eidolon.
An anger phantom eidolon summoner, with the Meld into Eidolon feat, who always turns into the eidolon, who is a "Mr.Hyde/Hulk" alternate persona of the summoner, if you would allow that reflavoring for the concept. The eidolon could otherwise be the summoner's deceased spouse or a sibling that 'comes to the surface' to protect their loved one (and focus the rage on the threat to the loved one).

I know it's been a good few months since this post went out, but I'd like to learn pathfinder (coming from 5e) and would totally be interested!!
Easiest way I can suggest is to find some YouTube channels that cover PF2e and join their Discords. I've got a game getting ready to start in a Discord channel myself. I don't wanna hijack this thread with links though. Feel free to DM me and I can give you some links.
